This is dedicated to -peachawsten goodnight I love them so much
Geoff went silent.
"You what?" He whispered. "Y-you told him? You outed me?!" Geoff was getting aggressive.
"He said he was gonna hurt me, I-I was scared a-and-" Sarah shook her head. "I wasn't thinking."
"Y-Yeah, no shit! You knew what would happen if he found out! Look at me Sarah! Do you think th-that this is okay?! Am I meant to sacrifice my own safety for you all the time, is that how it is now?! You're my big sister and you put me in danger!" Geoff yelled. "I got hurt because of you!"
"Geoff, I'm so sorry," Sarah reached out to Geoff, only getting her hand pushed away. "Gee.."
"No, don't 'Gee' me. Is that what you wanted, Sarah?! Did you want me to sacrifice my safety and myself for you?! Did you really think he was going to hurt you, Sarah? He wouldn't dream of touching you two, and I think you know that." Geoff said firmly.
"He hurt me," Becky said quietly, keeping her head low. "Before you came home. Sarah had to keep me safe. That's why the police got there so quickly, we called them before you were home."
"H-he hurt you?" Geoff felt terrible. He'd just yelled at his sisters for basically no reason.
"Yeah," Becky mumbled. "It's basically nothing compared to what he did to you."
"It's worse than what he did to me if he did it to you guys," Geoff said quietly. he was so ashamed. "What did he do?"
"He burnt my hand on the stove. It's not a serious burn, b-but it still hurt," Becky held up her right hand, which had a bandage on her palm and two of her fingers. "Sarah hit him with a pan and he grabbed her. He was gonna punch her so Sarah said the.. the thing.. to distract him. Then we ran away. He tried to come find us but then you came home." Becky explained.
Geoff was horrified. He's just been so mad at them both for something completely out of their hands. "Was he drunk?"
The police woman spoke up. "We did a drugs and alcohol test, and we found traces of methamphetamines in his blood. We've taken him into custody. Now, as Sarah is nineteen, she can technically take care of you both so you won't need to stay at your relatives house. You can, but I thought you might prefer being in your normal home," The police woman sighed. "It'll be okay kids."
Geoff nodded, wrapping his good arm around Becky. Why didn't he come home earlier? He could've protected them. Becky was barely fifteen, this wasn't fair on her at all. "Thank you officer," The three walked off to Geoffs hospital room. Geoff sat on the hospital bed and looked up at Sarah. "What are we gonna do?" He asked. "We don't have any money."
"We can get jobs, right? And because dad is in custody the government pays for the house because it's in his name. So we won't have to pay bills and stuff. You and Becky can put in resumes where I work, they'll let you! And we can get some money and everything will be okay." It was obvious Sarah was panicking.
"Come here," Becky held out her arms to Sarah and pulled her into a hug, holding her tightly. "Things will be okay. We're all still together, right?"
"Right," Geoff wrapped his own arm around them as best as he could. "And we'll all protect each other. We can get though this. Some people have it worse right? Some people don't even have homes o-or any money at all. So we'll be okay."
Sarah nodded, just pretending everything would be okay. She knew it wouldn't. "Okay," She said quietly. "Geoff, I already signed you out. They'll do one last check up and give you medicine then you can go."
Geoff nodded, pulling away from the hug. "It doesn't hurt that much, really," That was a lie, but it seemed to make his sisters feel a bit better. "I love you guys."

Awsten had been feeling weird after Geoff had left. It was later into the night now, about eight o'clock, and Geoff was still in his mind. He thought about how the boy said no to kissing him. Maybe Geoff really wasn't gay. Was it weird for them to be cuddling then? "Mom?"
"Yeah, Aws?" His Mom looked up from the table.
"Is it weird if I cuddle and kiss boys on the cheek if they're my friends? I-is it weird if you kiss a boy on the cheek if you're attracted to them? Not that I'm attracted to this boy, I-I.." Awsten blushed.
Did he have a crush on Geoff?
He could easily see them together. He loved how big Geoff was, Awsten fit into him so easily. It was funny how much bigger Geoff was than him. When they held hands, Awsten could barely fit his thin fingers over Geoff's knuckles. Geoff's clothes basically drowned Awsten when he wore them, and Geoff's cuddles suffocated him because of how big the boy was, but in a good way. Awsten craved Geoff's touch. Was that weird? He couldn't help but think about them together. Holding hands in hallways, being cheesy and matching their clothes, going on dumb dates.. Awsten felt his heart warm at the idea.
"No, I think affection is fine!" Gracie spoke up. She looked happy, which was expected. Awsten hadn't eaten dinner with them for so long. "I mean, if you like them it's a little weird.. wait, do you like someone?"
"N-no?" A blush crept up Awstens cheeks, the colour in his usually pale cheeks making him look constipated, especially with the sour look he was giving Gracie.
"At least give me a name? Do I know him? Are they pretty? Oh! Are they straight?" Gracie questioned.
Awsten shook his head. "Sounds like you're tryna steal my man!" He giggled, his face lighting up happily. "I'll tell you later, kay?"
