"where exactly is it, ash?" i asked, glancing at ashton who has his eyes glued on the road.

ashton told us that it'll be a good idea if we take a good look on the orphanages we're going to help soon.

"just a few more blocks," he answered. "you excited?"

"of course, i am," i smiled. why wouldn't i be excited? this is the first time i'll ever visit an orphanage and i'm already looking forward to meeting the kids. i've always loved playing with kids. maybe that's why i act like a kid sometimes.

"will you two shut up?" ashton laughed at calum and michael's bickering. they've been arguing whether to play greenday or blink-182 during the car ride. "we're already here, so quit you're fighting."

i looked out the window. there was a three-storey building, painted white. ashton told us to wait at the front door while he looks for a parking space somewhere near.

"we should've just played blink," calum continued to argue.

"seriously?" i laughed. "get over it, we'll be playing mayday parade when we get home."

"oh no, we're not." michael smirked. "we're playing greenday."

"blink," "mayday,"

"seriously?" the three of us turned around to see ashton. he looks like he's about to facepalm so hard that his hand would leave a dent on his face. "come on, let's do this."

we entered the building and an orange-scented room greeted us. the walls were pastel pink and there were paintings of trees and flowers.

"good morning, ma'am," ashton greeted the lady behind the counter. "do you know where i can find sister darlene? i'm ashton and these are my bandmates, we have an appointment with her."

"she's in that room," she pointed to a yellow door with children's colored handprints on it.

ashton muttered a thank you before walking towards the door she pointed.

"should we knock?" i asked.

"of course, manners," ashton flicked my forehead and i rubbed it.

he knocked twice and stepped back, clasping his hands behind his back. after a few seconds, the door opened and a dark-haired girl greeted us with a smile. she looks like she's just the same age as us.

"oh, there they are!" a nun - sister darlene, i suppose - cheered.

there were kids sat on the floor. some of them are busy painting, some are drawing with jumbo crayons. art room, i suppose. there were also kiddie music playing in the background, some kids are even singing and humming along.

"kids," sister darlene caught the kids' attention fast. "meet our visitors." she motioned us to introduce ourselves.

"hello kids," ashton greeted cheerfully. "i'm ashton."

"i'm michael," a kid almost interrupted him with "why is your hair pink?"

"i'm calum," the same kid that almost interrupted michael spoke again.

"you and jasmine would look cute together," the kid pulled on the arm of the girl who opened the door for us.

"i'm luke," i smiled, making sure my dimples show off. kids always like my dimples.

"you have a dimple," a  curly red-headed girl stood up, reaching my face to poke my dimples but she failed since i was too tall for her. "it's cute."

"and you're also tall," i picked her up and she poked my dimples, giggling. "belle said she likes tall guys with dimples."

"belle as in the disney princess?" i asked.

"no, but she looks like a princess," she sighed. "i wish i could be pretty like her."

"hey, you are pretty," i tilted her chin up. "you also looks like a disney princess. do you know of any curly red-head disney princess?" i asked and she shook her head no. "merida."

"who's merida?" she asked.

"merida is also a disney princess," i put her down and sat beside her on the floor. "she's a very brave princess. she has this really cool bow and arrow and she looks really beautiful with her curly, red hair, just like you."

"so i can be a disney princess?" her eyes lit up.

"of course, you can," i cheered.

"hey, luke," ashton called and i turned around. "we're going now."

i glanced at the girl, who i haven't asked her name yet, and smiled. "what's your name?"

"i'm thea," she answered.

"goodbye for now, princess thea," i bowed and patted her on the head. "i'll see you soon."

after saying goodbye to all the kids, we immediately walked back to the place where ashton parked the car.

"you seem pretty close to that red-head," ashton said, fumbling with the keys in his hands.

"she's nice," i answered.

ashton got inside the car and we immediately followed.

"blink," "greenday," "mayday," we all shouted at ashton as soon as we got it.

"why do i have retards as bandmates?" ashton laughed.
