C H A P T E R: 13

"no shh!" "No eomma, that 'shh' wasn't for you!"

You confusedly keep barking while managing to keep areum in place in order to put a diaper on and talking to your mom on phone to give her the news of you going out on a trip... which for some weird reason your mom was referring to being as your honeymoon!

Areum swiggles her way out and she begins crawling at the other end of the bed, her bum covered with baby powder makes you chuckle and you quickly stretch yourself closer and pick her up swiftly,

-"Does she trouble you both?"
Your mom asks while giggling as she hears areum whining on the other end..

"Na'ah she's a good baby.. but she's getting naughty these days!" You look at areum and ruffle your nose with hers making her giggle..

-"aww she's a really cute kid! Just like how you were.."

"Yeah yeah now don't start talking about how I had peed on that aunt whom you hated the most!" You roll your eyes, not wanting to hear the same old story from your mom.

Your mom lets out a hearty laugh before clearing her throat,
-"anyway what exactly happened? I mean why did jisoo all of a sudden planned on a trip to to the beach island?"

(Fictional name guys..)

"Ughh so that jungkook and I can get closer! And the worse thing is that Jin will be tagging along too!"

-"just ignore him honey.. do you want me to talk to him?"

"Are you crazy? No! I'll handle.. don't worry mom.." you state, not wanting to make your mom take any stupid decision out of sheer concern for you..

-"so jungkook accepted to go..?" Your mom asks in a low voice, well apparently even without your saying it she had somehow managed to understand how you and kook weren't keeping up much as husband and wife.. call it a maternal instinct or what but she somehow knew.

"Hmm.."

-"is he happy?"

You gulp as flashbacks from last week dwindle in your mind..

Flashback-

"What? Y/n if you're telling me you don't want to go on beach island then I swear I have NEVER seen a girl as stupid as you!"
Jisoo claims as she gets shocked at your straight up response with a huge NO!

"It's gonna be the old same Ji.. I mean we'll stay together in a room and I'll be taking care of areum and he'll be getting bugged off at most of the things and blah blah"
you let out a huge sigh , "see the only time he's happy is the time when you guys are with him.."  you press jisoo's hands and rub them,
"so I think you all go and leave areumie here with me.. it's just a matter of 5 days"

Jisoo slips her palms away and she puts her palms on top of yours and mirrors the move you were making seconds ago by stroking your palms in order to calm you down.

"Okay you need to calm your tits! My brother isn't a devil.. all he needs is some time-"

"I know" you cut her off, "but even if I accept to go.. he wouldn't"

Jisoo rolls her eyes at you, "leave that on me.." she smirks.

"Jungkook please!!" Jisoo pleads while rocking areum and stealing playful kisses on her face timely.

Jungkook, who at the moment, was seated on his bed, his sleeves folded up and his arms crossed across his chest while he pensively thinks like it was one big deal he was to comply in his office.

"I don't like an outing, jisoo why don't you get it?" He scoffs while releasing another long sigh..

Jisoo pouts and she looks at areum, "areumie let's not talk to appa! He never takes us out anywhere" she speaks in a baby-like voice making areum get excited and she smacks her hands over her collarbone..

Jungkook chuckles and he presses his lips together..
Jisoo puts areum over jungkook's laps, "areum convince appa!!" Jisoo kneels down to level areum and the baby looks around in awe and it was  jungkook's shirt button which catches her attention..

"Aww now you're trying to blackmail me! Not fair jisoo!" Jungkook states giggling as he sees areum fumbling her tiny palms over his shirt.. she giggles and jumps excitedly on his lap making Jungkook to hold her in place..

"Don't you think she's getting naughtier?" Jungkook asks, "but I'm glad she's happy.." jungkook pats his daughter's back

Jisoo bites her lips, "well shouldn't you thank y/n for that?"

He was taken off guard for a second and he blinks rapidly in dismay before nodding weakly, "yeah- yeah sure.. anyway, we'll be going to that beach.."
he announces while laying down on the bed with areum in his embrace.. He extends his hands and swiftly moves areum in air making her giggle in excitement..
"Aww my baby is excited much?"  Jungkook chuckles while bringing her closer to his face, "appa will never let you get upset babygirl"

~end of flashback~

"Okay baby.. which dress will you wear?" You murmur as you sit on the floor while packing yours and areum's bags

You pick the pile of onsies you had recently ordered online for areum and show them to her..
She crawls between your legs and tries to snatch the black rabbit edition onesie! It was the cutest among all tbe other ones you had bought since it even had those rabbit ears hooked at its head..

"Aww baby you like this one?" You ask her to which she only stares at you..

"Mmaa" she chirps making your heart flutter..
Did she just call you ma?

You didn't really know how should you be reacting to this.. you weren't even ready to be called a mother despite providing her with every ounce of love that you could.

It isn't you who deserves that position. It's only seohyun who's her mom and you can't snatch that label from her.

You smile at her and give her a quick peck on her forehead, "I love you too princess!"

You were busy tickling her when suddenly you hear someone clearing their throat and that's when you realize you two weren't alone in the room- not anymore as jungkook fills in his presence..
He looked handsome as ever with a white shirt on and his rugged jeans.

"Let's get going, shall we?" He asks as he pays his undivided attention on wearing his watch..

You nod weakly while quickly zipping the bags, internally praying that you don't end up dead between your satanic husband and your crazy ex-lover!
