"She's inherited this from you, I suppose.." you joke while still calmly patting areum's back, timely pecking her.
Jungkook pouts and caresses areum's head, "aish.. I told you she'll start crying!"
You press your lips into a thin line, feeling a little guilty, "I am sorry reumie.. will you forgive me? Eh?"
Areum mewls and wiggles herself, gripping her tiny fists in the maroon cardigan you were wearing.
"Okay okay its almost done reumie.. see!" Jungkook coos, trying to convince her but the baby decides to bury her head in your chest until she was assured the ride has come to a halt.
~~ You let out a sigh as you zip areum's jacket since it was getting colder.. You gently cover her head with the hoodie attached to the jacket and chuckle at her cuteness before pecking her with immense affection as you always do.
"All done sweetie" you chirp and look at him
"Sweet- what!?" He frowns as he sees you picking areum from the bench that you two were sitting on
"Sweetie….." you say raising your brows
"Eww never call me that" he says disgusted
You look at him dumbfounded as how he had misunderstood you. You let out a loud laugh making him flinch
"Aish-"
"I didn't call YOU sweetie!" You laugh, "anyway umm.." "so shall we head home now? It's getting cold.."
"Hmm.." he gets up and begins walking with you following him from behind..
A million questions run through your head as you pace quietly behind him.. Did he really forgive you so easily? At one point he was so outrageous but the next he just asks you to join him at the park..
You sigh and pout, you just wanted peace and nothing more. You were so not the kind who flights back wittily. Call it stupidity or what but this is you and especially when it comes to jungkook, your heart can't reject him during the time when he needs someone the most. So even if it takes all your dignity you are willing to make him a better person like before.

You watch his moves and put a smile on.. "Jungkook.." you start making him turn around to face you, "Can we please talk?" You pause for a while and notice how his expressions looked so unconvincing "I'm waiting for you out in the balcony.." you say quickly before making a beeline..

Well the reason why you invited him for this little chitter chatter was to clear things up once and for all.. you didn't want to face with the arrogant jungkook at all. Your heart fluttered the moment you had made him all sparkling again, you did not want him to go back to remorsing.
The moonlight shimmers his shadow from behind you. You glance down and give a good look at his silhouette, damn never did you find a shadow so ethereal before..
You clear your throat and tilt your head, "hi.."
He slowly paces forward, joining you by the railings of the small balcony which was located in his room..
"Talk.." he murmurs, almost inaudible to your ears making you raise your eyebrows at him
"You uh you wanted to say something? So-"
"Look I uh I just want to clarify things"
"You already did y/n.." he sighs and clasps his hands together while adoring the scenery of his garden below..
"No but.. I uh I didn't like how you umm you berserked on me for nothing. It's not my fault jungkook. He-"
"I heard that already"
"No let me clarify! I broke all my contacts with him, 2 months before we got married. He- he did call me and everything and I do admit moving on was a bit difficult and I felt a little pang of jealousy when I came to realize he's dating jisoo but but I had many things on my plate like taking care of areum and then I just wanted to make our relationship better" your lips quiver and tears automatically start falling down your face and well this time you weren't feeling exposed to him. You just wanted to let out whatever you buried for so long! "I-" you inhale sharply, "Jin and i didn't do anything on the day of our wedding. He was drunk and I was trying to console him and I uh hit my collarbone with umm something.. so it got bruised" you lie. You couldn't backstab Jin either since he's been jungkook's old friend and jisoo's boyfriend on top of that.
"I'm sorry I'm so sorry if I am a stupid wife to you jungkook. I can't be the kind of person you expect me to be. I agree I'm an idiot, a stupid gullible person, a silly girl, call me whatever but I swear-"
The moment seizes, all you could feel was the raging beating- no pounding of your heart and the constant goosebumps running through your body. His lips felt so gentle against yours, you couldn't believe this wasn't a dream. It has to be.
Your nose brushes past him. It was spontaneous, it felt like your reflexes were controlling your actions and you move your lips in sync with his.

"You just got lucky, I guess.." he jokes as he wipes your tears slowly
