There was no moment
When I thought
I didn't want you.
Destiny's specter never
Changed its mind.
There was no
Blackout,
Between nervous glass swirling
First dates
And two point four children.
Now I have popped out
For a pack of cigarettes
Forever,
That want
Will go on.
Remind your new lover
That you can never be
Just theirs.
