Lauren's POV

___________________________________________________________________________

For the past few days...no wait weeks, Camila didn't talk to anyone which of course includes me. She didn't make eye contact, didn't scream or cry when she was bullied, she didn't even answer the questions that the teachers ask but since the school knows about her situation she isn't scolded for it.

I haven't gotten any sleep at all which led to big bags under my eyes and constantly falling asleep in class. I kept trying to talk to her but I can't find her anywhere except for during classes where she sits in her chair staring blankly at the whiteboard. As soon as the bell rings, that's it. She disappears into thin air and the only other time I will see her again is in another class.

This sucks. I really need to apologize but she won't even look me in the eye. Third period was over and it was time for lunch break so I walked down the hallways to my three real friends, Ally, Normani and Dinah.

As I walked into the cafeteria, I saw them sitting and having a serious conversation at a table about something. Being the curious girl that I was, I decided to join in.

"Hey girls, whatcha guys talking about?", I smiled cheekily. "Oh...nothing much. You know just about how that girl, Camila, had been acting since you outed her last few weeks ago."

I cringed and sighed guiltily. "I know...I know...what do you expect me to do?"

"Well...I don't know...don't be a bitch and out her when she isn't ready?!" Ally yelled at me. "I am sorry but it was Brad's order and you know what happens if I stand up to him."

"I get it that you are scared of him but have you thought about how Camila feels? The whole school knows about her secret now and now they all are bullying her. Going to school must be like a torture to her." Dinah looked at me and gave me a half smile.

"I know. I am trying to apologize but she always disappears after class. I don't know what to do anymore." I sighed. "True. But have you thought about something like writing a letter to her and maybe putting it in her school bag or locker when she's not around?"

I internally groaned. How have I not thought about that. I ran quickly to grab a pen and paper and on my way I yelled, "You guys are geniuses. Love you."

I didn't thought that it would be a good idea to write the letter at school so I ran fast to my house once school ended. I went straight to my desk and tapped on a piece of paper with my blue pen. I started writing down all the things I felt like saying to Camila and my only hope was that she actually get the letters and read them.

Nothing much, just fine, I am doing well.Where stories live. Discover now
