2d had forgotten all the events of a few hours ago as he excitedly looked for an outfit in his room. Murdoc sat on his bed as he talked about some famous artist he liked. He loved seeing 2d happy, everything was so worth it. He was completely entranced by this boy. "What do you think I should wear, Murdoc?" Murdoc almost jumped in surprise at his own name. he thought over options. "Well in the arcade its pretty hot, i'd go with something light." Murdoc suggested. 2d cocked and eyebrow. "Good point." He answered. He kept digging through his closet until he pulled out an outfit he liked. "Alright, I'm gonna change." He announced, walking into his bathroom. Murdoc whined. "Aww, I don't even get to watch you change?" 2d rolled his eyes. "Buy a guy dinner first, sweet Satan!" 2d laughed, closing the bathroom door. Murdoc also laughed flopping down on 2ds bed. He took a second to examine everything in 2ds room. A painting hung a few feet from his dresser, and a lot of polaroids hung on the back of his door. These are new. Murdoc thought, getting up and walking over to them. He took a moment to examine them closer. It was a bunch of pictures of him with the band in random places, even when Russel had handed him money by the cemetery. When did he take these? He didn't have time to question it any more before he heard the bathroom door open. 2d walked out and looked at Murdoc curiously. "Uh, what are y' doin?" 2d asked. Murdoc quickly turned to him. "Just looking at your..." He took a second to look at 2d. He was wearing a baggy pastel pink sweatshirt with a skeleton ribcage design, some black ripped up skinny jeans, some sleek black combat boots, a black choker, and his upside-down cross necklace. He honest to Satan adored the feminine side of 2d that he only showed around the band. He watched 2d defensively cover himself. "Looking at my...?!" 2d inquired. Murdoc quickly shook his head. "No, No! Looking at your polaroids!" Murdoc explained, trying not to laugh. 2d let out a sigh of relief. "Well...good..." He said relaxing. "Are you ready to go? i got a text from Russ and Noodle, they're ready to go." 2d asked, back into his happy go lucky tone. Murdoc nodded. "Yup, lets head out birthday boy." He sang, ruffling 2ds hair up and walking downstairs. 2d whined and tried to mat his hair back down. Murdoc couldn't help but smile at the adorable noises 2d made. they made it outside and 2d skipped down the steps and into the passengers seat of Murdocs car. Murdoc laughed at him as he got into the drivers side. "Alright, your turn to pick songs blue jay." Murdoc said, starting his car and revving the engine. 2d smiled at his kindness, and checked the time as he looked at his phone and plugged in the aux cord. 9:00 pm. Good thing this arcade was open all night. He ended up going with an absolute banger, rather be by clean bandits. Even Murdoc sang along as Noodle jumped happily into the backseat. "Hey toochie! Happy birthday!" She exclaimed. "Thanks Noods!" he said, smiling back at her. She handed him a medium sized gift bag and smiled widely. "Don't open it till we pick up Russ!" She instructed. 2d nodded. "Aye aye capn'!" 2d giggled, setting it in the floorboards. no one know why but it was always sacred to pick up the band in this order. They all insisted it was 'bad luck' if it happened any way else. Murdoc once again crashed his car into the lawn and honked at Russ. "Beep beep motherfucka." He yelled, getting in next to Noodle. He handed 2d a messily wrapped box with corgi wrapping paper. "Aww, thanks Russel!" 2d thanked genuinely. "You could open em before we leave." Murdoc suggested. 'Alright then, lets do that!" Noodle agreed. 2d nodded and picked up Noodles bag first. "Alright let's see here..." He mumbled, taking all of the wrapping paper out. He reached his hand inside and felt fabric. he pulled it out and examined it. He gasped. "Noodle! You didn't!" He said taken aback. It was a red Hot Chili Peppers shirt, with 2ds name printed on the back. He let out a squeal. She did listen when he rambled on about his favourite bands! He reached backward and pulled her into a big hug. "Aww, I hope you love it!" Noodle giggled, hugging him back. "Now mine bro!" Russel pressed. 2d chuckled, placing the shirt back into the bag gently. "Ok ok, lets see." He said, picking up the box. He loved the wrapping paper, it kinda sucked he had to tear it up. It was a small jewelry box, so 2d knew it was a ring of some sort. "This ain't no proposal is it Russ?" 2d joked, causing the car to burst out laughing. Murdoc was laughing to but he knew he'd die if it actually was. He opened the box and took the ring out cautiously. "Oh wow, it's stunning!" 2d exclaimed. It was a metal ring with a glass pentagram on top. Noodle gasped. "Wow Russ! Good pic!" She said, taking a closer look. "Definitely!" Murdoc agreed as I carefully slipped the ring on. Guess satanic jewelry was popular now a days. "Alright let's go!' 2d cheered and everyone started whooping and hollering again, backing out of Russels lawn.

When they arrived, Murdoc couldn't help but notice a familiar looking motorcycle sitting close to the door. He just couldn't put a finger on who it belonged to? They all got out laughing at something dumb Noodle had said. They all walked inside, Russel holding the door for everyone. They all went over to the token exchange and that's when Murdoc noticed a certain lanky bird a few feet away playing on a game. Paula Cracker.
