"our next guests are the couple the world has fallen in love with. they started off as co-stars in one of the most awaited movie back in 2018 called avengers : infinity war. both are now currently dominating hollywood, the internet, and are on every magazine cover as of the moment," ellen degeneres said the last in a tone of playfulness, emitting a laugh and a nod of agreement from the crowd. "please welcome tom and arisa holland!"
the audience cheers as tom and arisa steps on stage with smiles on their faces as they waved to everyone. arisa and tom both take their turns giving the interviewer a hug before sitting down across from her, tom helping his wife sit down— he was very careful with her, considering that arisa was now 8 months pregnant.
"hello, welcome to the show!" ellen greeted the couple. arisa took a sip from the mug in front of her, looking at tom who looked like a kid in a candy shop at that exact moment. "it's an honor being here," he said.
"definitely," arisa agreed. "we both love your show and we'd still be excited being here as if it was our first time so, thank you for inviting us."
"so arisa, how do you feel?"
"well, i'm very pregnant right now," arisa replied in a tone of seriousness but a smile quickly appeared on her face. the audience laughed at arisa's words, some even shaking their heads in amusement. arisa grinned with a chuckle.
"well, i can see that. speaking of pregnant, you announced that you two were expecting about three months ago and i was just wondering, how has it been since the reveal? and how has the pregnancy been going? congratulations, by the way," ellen told the couple.
"thank you! the pregnancy has been great— well for the most part, it was. the beginning of it all was the absolute worst. i'd feel horrible every morning, having to throw up even when i didn't eat. no one really knew what was wrong with me so i told them that it was fine, i could just take pain relievers and that i wasn't in any pain. it was a relief to finally be able to tell everyone, i had an excuse for not dressing up and going out. it also made sense to people why i looked like i was gaining weight— surprise, it's a baby," arisa laughed. "but they've all been supportive and i couldn't be thankful enough. i'll let tom answer as well, i know he has a lot to say," she said to ellen while glancing at her husband.
"you might be thinking, oh, what would be know about how the pregnancy's going? he's not even experiencing it," tom started off, changing into an american accent for the imitation. he chuckled to himself before continuing on, "well, you're right. however, i'm on the receiving end. so whenever arisa would have a craving in the middle of the night, i'm the one who goes out to buy what she wants to eat. whenever she feels hyper at 3 in the morning, i have to be at her little dance party. if arisa feels grumpy when i try to talk to her, i'd be receiving a good punch to the arm. but other than that, it's been amazing."
