Blackie's POV: Jesus Christ, I knew I should never have told anyone about Ella. Lita meant well, but she shouldn't have said anything in front of the others. I saw Lita through the window and opened the door for her.

"Hey, sorry about that." She said.

"It's fine. You didn't know." I replied, "Make yourself comfortable. There's a spare bedroom upstairs, but it's pretty small since my kid's in the bigger guest room. Hope you don't mind."

"That's fine. I've been sleeping in a sleeping bag for a while so a bed's a nice change." She replied.

"Blackie." I heard Penelope call.

"Down here hon." I called back. I could hear her bare feet pitter patter down the steps. She started making her way towards me, but froze when she saw Lita. She didn't hide behind my leg like she normally does with a new person. Meanwhile Lita looked just as surprised.

"Mommy?" Penelope said. Lita looked like she was about to break down.

"Come here honey!" She said, dropping to her knees. Penelope quickly ran up to her and they both hugged. My heart sunk a little. At least her real mom is someone I can trust.

"I can't believe this." Lita said, looking at me.

"I can't either." I said.

"How did you - You know what, I don't care. I'm just glad she's ok and was with you." Lita replied.

I felt a void start to form in my heart. As if Penelope was the one important thing I had left. Yeah she isn't my biological child, and Lita isn't going anywhere with her anytime soon, but I still feel kinda empty. Probably because I won't be able to treat her as a daughter anymore.

"She was a secret." Lita continued, "That's why I dissappered from the spotlight for a while, to take care of her. When the outbreak hit she was with her father. I never saw her after that. But she's here. I can't believe it."

"Well, I'm glad she has a parent again." I said, faking happiness.

"Blackie, you've done so much for me today. How can I repay you?" Lita asked, picking up Penelope and walking towards me.

"No need." I replied.

"Blackie." She replied, staring into my eyes. Without warning, we slowly kissed. I was not expecting that to happen, and I'm sure Lita wasn't. We didn't look or feel awkward after. It was almost as if it was natural. At this point Penelope was between us while in Lisa's arms, so she laid her head on my chest, giggling.

"Daddy?" She asked with a smile. I chuckled.

"No honey." I replied, not wanting to break her heart.

"Well, not yet." Lita said, smirking at me.

"Think Nikki will be pissed about this?" I asked with a chuckle.

"Doubt it." She said before kissing me again.

Talk about kiss me deadly.

Tom's POV: I woke up the next morning with Eric holding onto me tightly, still sleeping. How am I gonna get out of this one? I just decided to stay put. He'll wake up eventually, right? Well thank goodness he did.

"Feeling better?" I asked.

"Much. Thank you for staying with me." He answered. I pecked him on the cheek.

"I wanna head out to scavenge today. Feel like coming out?" I said.

"I don't know," Eric replied, "After yesterday I'm a little weary about going out until these Whisperers are gone."

"I'll be right by your side." I said, "If they show up I'll kill them, no if ands or buts about it." Eric looked a little uneasy about it.

"Promise you'll stay by me?" He asked. I nodded reassuringly. "Alright. Let's go." We both got out of bed and changed. As we walked outside, I noticed Blackie and Lita on their porch, acting pretty friendly while they watched Penelope. Then I caught them kiss. Shit! Blackie's got a girlfriend, Blackie's got a girlfriend! I'll tease him about it later.

Eric and I eventually made our way along a nearby road, keeping a sharp eye out for any walkers or Whisperers. He refused to let go of my hand, not wanting to let me out of his sight. We came across an abandoned cabin that was falling apart at the seams.

"You wanna go in and look, let me stand guard?" I asked. Eric was visibly nervous. "I'll be right here. Promise."

"Ok, I'll go check it out." He replied, getting his gun out. Once he was inside, I stood close by, keeping an eye out. A walker started approaching, so I walked up to kill it. "Tom!" Eric yelled, concerned. I quickly ran back to the cabin.

"What happened?! Are you ok?!" I called. He quickly came walking out with something in his arms. Whatever it is, it's wrapped in a blanket. Eric looked terrified and worried. I got closer to see exactly what he had. It's a baby??!! Why is there a baby?! And it's alive!

"What the fuck?!" I said, in as much disbelief as Eric.

"What do we do with it?!" Eric asked, his voice cracking.

"We can't leave it our here!" I replied.

"Do we just take it?! What if it's parents come back for it?! I don't wanna get killed over an accidental kidnapping!" He said.

"Was their any notes saying their gone or dead?" I asked, trying to calm down.

"I didn't look I just panicked when I saw it." Eric replied. "Here, take it while I look." He handed me the baby before going back in. It smiled at me, as if it was comfortable in my arms. I couldn't help but smile back. Big blue eyes and a little nose.

"Found this." Eric said, walking back out with a piece of paper.

We're done for. We're bitten and done for. Save him. His name is Jonathan.

"I guess that's our answer." I replied...
