*~Alexandria~*
Later on that night, I headed over to my dad's house, while Blue and Frost went out on their date. I didn't want to sit at home alone, staring at the hours of homework that I knew I had to do, so I packed up my backpack and Halo's diaper bag and came straight over to Wayne's Manor.
"Dad?" I called out, walking into Wayne Manor. Alfred rushed towards the door, greeting me, before retrieving some of the bags I was carrying.
"I'm afraid your father's in a meeting at the moment, but he should be wrapping up soon. Did you need anything while you wait?" He asked.
"No, I'm fine. Is Maize here?" Maize was the nanny that my dad hired after Talia gave birth to their child. Of course, he pays her extra whenever I bring Halo, but she doesn't mind taking care of both our babies at one time.
"Yes ma'am. She's upstairs with Master Damien at the moment." I nodded my head and thanked him, making my way upstairs. Damien was my little brother, who had just turned one, and no doubt the apple of my father's eye. Of course, he keeps telling me that he loves us both equally, but I knew better. I knew he loved him more and I couldn't even be mad about it. Was I slightly jealous? Maybe a little.
"Ready for a nap, my sweet girl?" I asked Halo, placing a kiss on her cheek. She looked at me and smiled, making me smile at how cute she was. I still can't believe I made her. With a psychopath nonetheless, but I didn't regret her. I didn't regret anything, even falling in love with her dad.
"Alex?" I heard my dad say, snapping me out of my thoughts. "What are you doing here?"
"You invited me, remember? I know I'm early, but I really needed to get some homework done and I figured Maize could watch Halo for awhile." He closed his office door, walking towards me, as he smiled down at the baby. "Did I catch you at a bad time? I know Alfred said you were i a meeting."
"I just wasn't expecting you this early, that's all. I am meeting with someone, but I heard you calling and I told him to excuse me for a moment." He grabbed Halo from me and kissed her forehead, walking down the hall and stepping into Damien's room. "Look who's here to see her uncle." I smiled and shook my head, not denying how weird that sounded.
"Look Damien! Halo's here!" My smile instantly dropped, hearing that voice that made my anger go through roof. I rushed down the hall and saw Talia sitting in the rocking chair, holding Damien in her lap as they both smiled at my daughter.

Damien Wayne
"I think the fu-" I stopped mid-sentence, realizing that there were babies present. "I mean...where's Maize?"
"I sent her to run a few errands while Bruce and I bond with Damien. I didn't know you'd be bringing Halo over." Talia spoke.
"I'm sorry, but was I talking to you?"
"Alex..." My dad said, sternly.
"You know what? I just realized that I left Halo's formula at home, so we're going to go ahead and go." I lied, grabbing Halo from my dad.
"Damien has plenty of formula in the kitchen, Alex. Halo is more then welcome to take a can or two." She said. Why is she still talking to me? I'm not understanding. She might've been acting nice, but this was all an act because my dad was here. She just wanted to get back in his good graces and if she continued to go the route she was going...she was going to succeed.
"I'll pass. I'll see you later. Bye Damien." I turned and walked off, while my dad followed behind me.
"Why can't you at least pretend to like Talia? I'm not saying you both have to be friends, let alone be in the same room, but at least she's attempting to be nice."
"You know she's faking right?" I questioned, arching an eyebrow.
"Of course I know, but I'd rather you both fake liking each other, rather than you leaving and not coming back for weeks on end." I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"Fine, I'll fake it with her, but in return...I want to ask you something and I want an honest answer."
"What is it?"
"Why are you in contact with Dr. Arkham?" I asked him.
"That information is strictly confidential, Alex. I can't tell you even if I wanted to, but I promise...I will shed some light on everything soon enough. In the meantime, why don't you go upstairs and work on your school work, while I resume my meeting. I'll see you at dinnertime." He placed a kiss on my forehead and kissed Halo's head, before making his way back down the hall and into his office. I followed him, hoping and praying that Halo would be quiet long enough for me to eavesdrop, but she was already starting to fuss.
"Shhh...mommy is trying to listen in on grandpa and see what he's up to." I whispered, pressing my ear against the door. I could hear my dad and another man talking, but I could barely make out what either of them were saying.
"He seems to be making some significant progress here, Bruce." An unfamiliar voice said.
"I'm still skeptical about that. I mean...any sudden triggers and all that crazy could come back at a moments notice." My dad said. Who the hell were they talking about? Halo shrieked loudly, followed by her one and only word "mama" as I quickly ran away from his office door and hurried down the hall to my room.
"You know what? I was probably as loud as you were, when I was a baby, which is probably why my birth parents left me in a dumpster." I huffed, shaking my head. That little piece of information still ran me the wrong way, but thankfully my dad saved me from that horrible situation. Sometimes I'd think about what my life would've been like if my birth parents were successful in robbing that bank. Would I be a criminal villain like they were? Would I have even met Blue, Kane, or Joker? I shook my head, erasing those thoughts from my mind, because if I didn't know anything...I knew for a fact that God doesn't make mistakes.
