"My fault...I didn't get the joke." Those were the very last words uttered by Harley after Joker pushed her out of a window, and it then dawned on her that Joker probably wasn't the guy for her after all. After everything they've been through, he decided to throw it all away and for what? The millionaire's daughter?

"I should've killed her and her rich daddy when I had the chance." Harley grumbled, climbing out of the bed and dragging her feet into the bathroom. After the window incident, Harley went back up, only to discover that Joker was captured by Batman and Robin; which was unlike him. Did he willingly go? Just so he could see little miss Alexandria Wayne? Or did he actually give up and allow himself to get caught? All those thoughts were going through her head, as she looked at herself in the mirror, sighing heavily.

"Harleen? Breakfast is ready!" Harley's sister called out.

"I'll be right down." She responded. She washed her face and brushed her teeth, stepping out of the bathroom and making her way downstairs. When she walked into the kitchen, she smiled at the blonde haired, blue eyed baby girl that showed the same excitement every time she came around.

Lucy

"Tete Harweyyy!" She squealed.

"Hiya Lucy!" Lucy was almost two years old and instead of her knowing her own mother as "mommy," she knew Harley as "auntie." Almost two years ago, before Harley cheated on Joker, she found out that she was pregnant with their child and she was happy about it. While she was locked in Belle Reve, she figured that Joker would come and rescue her like he always promised he would do, but it never happened. Instead, she spent long nine months in jail, being mistreated and barely hanging on to hope for herself or her unborn child. It wasn't until she gave birth to Lucy, when she realized that she wanted to make things work with Joker, only because she wanted them to be a family; but she knew Joker would never do that. He was more worried about robbing banks, stealing jewelry, and wreaking havoc all over Gotham; not caring whether Harley was by his side or not.

When she returned to Gotham, escaping from Belle Reve with the help of her villain friends, she was shocked and hurt when Joker didn't even acknowledge that she had been gone for almost a year. It was as if he didn't even care, and he didn't, which broke her heart something serious. Instead of crying about it, she decided to get even and go out and sleep with someone else, getting caught by Joker when he came looking for her. What made it even more fucked up, was that he caught them in his own bed, and that almost caused him to kill the both of them; but luckily...Harley found a way to save both herself and the man that she cheated on, disappearing into the darkness of the night.

"How's my favorite girl?" Harley asked, tapping Lucy's nose.

"I good." She responded, smiling brightly at the woman that gave birth to her.

"Such a cutie. So...can I help with breakfast, sis?" She asked getting up from the table.

"Harleen, you and I both know that you don't know how to cook. Just sit down and spend some time with Lucy...I'll finish breakfast." She rolled her eyes and turned away from her sister, knowing that Harley's stay was going to be short. It always was. Whenever she wanted to get away from Joker, she'd come hide out at her sister's house, because she knew Joker wouldn't know where to find her.

"You look so much like your daddy, Luce." Harley smiled, moving some hair out of her face. "I just wish he could meet you. I'm sure he'd fall in love with you just like I did."

"You need to quit doing this to yourself, Harleen. You and I both know that clown isn't father material."

"I know, but I like to daydream about it. Me and Mistah J would take her to the park, allow her to feed the ducklings, before sitting down to have a small, family picnic. Then I'd sit back and watch as my Puddin' pushes our sweet baby girl on the swing, watching as they laugh and share a beautiful father/daughter moment." Tears filled her eyes as she sighed heavily, dropping her head down as a single tear fell from her eyes. Harley felt as if all of the unfortunate events between her and Joker were all her fault. If she would've never cheated on him then none of this would've happened. He wouldn't hate her as much as he did, and he most certainly wouldn't be trying to kill her every chance he got. This was her mess and she had no idea how to clean it up.

"Harleen...?" She looked up into the blue eyes of her sister, putting on a forced smile. "He doesn't deserve your tears. You deserve to love and be loved by someone that can love and love you back. Joker isn't that person and I'm sorry to say that, but it's the truth."

"You don't understand." She began, shaking her head. "What we have is special and I can't just walk away from that."

"Have you seen your face lately? What's so special about getting hit on every time that clown is angry?" She questioned, glaring at her naive little sister.

"You don't know him like I do."

"No sweetie...YOU don't know him like you think you do!" Harley slammed her hands down on the table and stormed out of the kitchen, feeling angry tears swell up in her eyes as she went into the bathroom and threw a violent tantrum. She slammed her fist into the wall repeatedly, making a huge hole, as she dropped to her knees and started bawling her eyes out.

No need for the tears. You want your man back? You know what you need to do.

I wiped my face and stared at the wall.

"I have to kill her." She whispered.

Bingo! You kill her and Joker will have no choice but to come crawling back to you!

Harley smiled, thinking of how crazy the plan sounded, but at the same time...it might just work.
