"Stay still." Uncle Robin told me, as he jammed the scalpel into my neck. I screamed out in pain, biting down on the dish towel that he had given me, trying my best to take the pain. My dad had called and asked me to come over so I could get this nanite removed from my neck, just in case Harley planned on trying to find a way to blow my head off. "Almost got it." My nails scraped against the granite counter tops, as I let out a whimpering cry, feeling a burning sensation before he pressed his hand to the back of my neck.

"Got it." He cleaned my neck up and put a huge bandage on it, before turning me around and showing me what was living in my neck for the past year. "It's small but deadly."

"I believe it." I grumbled, taking the aspirin and juice that he had sat down in front of me. "What happens if I destroy this thing? Will it go off?"

"I don't think so, but we won't take any chances. I'll get rid of it." He assured me. I simply nodded my head, checking the time, as I looked around the quiet kitchen. Wayne Manor was always quiet, but for some odd reason...it was a little too quiet tonight.

"Where is everyone?"

"Last I heard, Bruce was staying late at Wayne Enterprise, Alfred wasn't feeling well so he retired to his room earlier, and Damien is upstairs with the babysitter." I don't know why, but something didn't feel right and I hated when I got this feeling. It meant that something bad was either about to happen, or has already happened. "What's wrong?"

"I just...I have a bad feeling, but I don't know why." I admitted.

"Maybe because you left that clown at home alone with Halo, even though we both know that he knows nothing about raising a child." I rolled my eyes, not in the mood to listen to him bash Jack.

"Uncle Robin, we've talked about this. He isn't the same person he was back then and he does a great job taking care of Halo. Plus, he isn't alone with her. Blue and Frost are there." I stood up and stretched, wrapping my arms around him and kissing his cheek. "But I do need to get going, so I'll call you later."

"Okay, you be careful out there. And let me know when you make it home safely." He told me. I nodded my head and grabbed my things, heading out as I contemplated my surroundings before climbing into my car.

When I arrived home, I immediately got an eerie feeling, as I stepped off of the elevator and looked around my pitch back dark house. Where the hell was everyone? I eased towards the wall, feeling around for the light switch, switching it on as I looked slowly looked around.

"Blue? Frost?" I called out, grabbing a butcher knife out of the kitchen drawer. "Jack?" I swiftly eased through the house, careful not to make a sound, as I headed upstairs and found that the entire house was completely empty. No Blue, No Frost, No Jack, and most importantly...No Halo.

"What the fuck?" I whispered, pulling my phone out. I dialed Blue's number first, but it went straight to voicemail. I then dialed Frost's number and I heard his phone ringing in the distance. I quickly ran through the house, following the sounds of the ringing phone, bursting into the bedroom to find it completely empty. Frost's phone was sitting on the nightstand table, along with Blue's phone, and that immediately raised a red flag. I ran back across the house, calling Uncle Robin, and letting him know what was going on.

"Gone? What do you mean everyone is gone?" He questioned.

"I mean what I said! The house was completely dark and empty, plus Blue and Frost left their phones here and that is so unlike them." I walked back into my bedroom, noticing that there was something in Halo's crib, as I walked over and picked it up. It was a letter.

"You need to leave right now, Alex. Meet me back over at your dad's house." I ignored him as I sat on the edge of the bed and read the letter out loud.

"Choose Or Lose. Who's it gonna be? Your precious daughter and her father? Or your best friend and her lover? Choose wisely. You have one hour to make a decision and come to ACE Chemicals ALONE! The clock is ticking." I crumbled up the paper and dropped it on the floor, angrily stomping on it, as I let out an ear shattering scream. Of course, this was Harley, Deadshot, and Kane, and as far as I'm concerned...they have completely crossed a line.

"Jesus Alex! What is going on?" I heard Uncle Robin ask. I forgot all about him, since I was so mad and worked up.

"HARLEY FUCKING QUINN, DEADSHOT, AND KANE TOOK MY BABY!" I shouted. "And not only that, they took Jack, Blue, and Frost...telling me to choose between my two very best friends and my family!" I cried, sending my fist into the wall.

"Alex calm down and listen to me. You need to meet me at your dad's house right now. I'll call him and let him know what's going on, but you need to pull yourself together and breathe." I took a deep breath and wiped my face, trying to calm myself down. How could I though? Two known villains and someone who I thought was my friend, kidnapped my friends and my baby. The anger I was feeling couldn't compare to the pain that I was going to inflict on those three muthafuckas.

"Okay, okay...I'm calm. The letter said I only had an hour, so we need to figure something out and fast!" I told him, as I quickly ran out of the house. I'm not sure when they were taken or how long it's been since they wrote this note, but all I can hope is that I wasn't too late.
