One Week Later

It had been a whole week since everything happened and there were no signs of Jack or Harley anywhere, which seriously pissed me off. I know I shot her ass, but for some reason she refused to die and that only made me want her dead more. When Frost ran back inside to help Jack, it was like he had vanished into thin air, because the place was completely empty. No Harley. No Jack. No nothing.

My dad and Uncle Robin managed to catch Deadshot, throwing him back into Belle Reve, and leaving him there to rot for God knows how long. Frost and Blue wanted him dead, especially after everything that happened, but my dad refused to let any of us near him. Me especially, because I wouldn't have hesitated to kill him on sight.

"This is the last box." Frost spoke, as he and Blue walked into our new place. After everything that happened, I didn't feel safe living in that penthouse anymore, so my dad arranged for us to stay in his safe house until everything dies down. That did put me at ease, but at the same time...what if Jack goes back to the penthouse and realizes that we're gone? Surely he'd go to my dad's house next, that way my dad could bring him here, and we'd be reunited once again.

"This place is so small, but so cute." Blue said, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, it's okay." I said, looking down at Halo, who was fast asleep in her car seat. She has been an angel throughout this entire ordeal and I couldn't get over how lucky I was to have such an amazing  daughter. Though I'm sure she misses Jack as much as I did, cause let's face it...he took over a lot of the responsibilities, but I don't think she notices that he's not around at the moment. .

"Hey...I know it's been a long a tough week for all of us, especially you, but let's try and make the best of it."

"That's easier said than done." I grabbed Halo out of her car seat and carried her into my bedroom, laying her down on the bed, while I set up her playpen. Though she has her own room in this place, I didn't feel comfortable letting her out of my sight again, therefore... she'd be sleeping in my room with me.

While she slept, I started unpacking boxes, watching the news to see if anything about Jack or Harley would pop up. Of course, nothing did say anything about the two, which only made me sad. What happened to them? Where could they have gone without being spotted? All these thoughts circulated in my head, as I picked the remote up to turn off the TV, but then something caught my attention.

"There's been some reports about multiple disturbances around the Crime Alley area, but who is causing the disturbances are completely unknown. If you have any clues, then please call-" I shut off the TV and sat there for a minute, getting a cold and eerie feeling down my spine.

"It can't be. Can it?" I murmured to myself, as I got up and walked into what is supposed to be Halo's bedroom. "Frost. Can I ask you something?"

"Of course. What's on your mind?" He asked, focusing on putting Halo's crib together.
