Alex's Outfit (Minus The Shoes)
I had been texting Kane for the past two weeks, trying to apologize and explain why I left the way I did the night of the Gala, but he didn't want to hear it. He was highly pissed at me, and I don't blame him, but he's not giving me a chance to explain myself.
That night was filled with so many unfortunate events, driving me completely crazy, but now that I was back to my old self...I wanted him to at least give me a chance to explain myself.
"Would you like anything specific for dinner, Madam Alex?" Alfred asked me. It was Sunday, which was the day he came over to clean and cook for us, all while restocking my refrigerator and doing the piles of laundry I now had.
"No, anything is fine with me." I said, not looking up from my phone. "You really don't have to cook and clean for us, Alfred. We are four able bodied adults, that can cook and clean for ourselves." Between Blue, Frost, Jack, and myself...I'm sure that we could all come together and keep this place in order.
"That's what I'm paid for, Madam Alex. Granted, I'm not paid to clean up after your friends, but I don't mind. Madam Blue cuts my workload in half, taking care of the laundry and what not, while Master Jonny does the sweeping and dusting."
"You can't really give him credit for that, because you go right behind him and do the dusting and sweeping yourself."
"Yes, because he's lousy at it." He said, making me laugh. "And how is Master Jack getting along with Halo?"
"Surprisingly he's been doing a really good job. He still freaks out whenever she cries, but he's still learning." I said. My dad allowed Jack to stay here with me, despite him having to go to his therapy sessions three times a week, but other than that... he's been here with me.
