We clashed swords with one another repeatedly. I waited for her to make an offensive attack but she only defended herself, irritating me, so I decided to switch things up and threw down my sword. I pulled my fist back and sent her backward with a strong punch in the center of her chest. She stood up gaining ground and charged at me with her zanpakutō. I dodged her attack and sent another blow, this time punching her face, but that didn't stop her, she continued slashing her sword. I materialized my weapon this time getting kunai and repeatedly flung them at her, purposely missing a couple of times, so she only ends up with four lodged in her body, the handles sticking out.
"Hadō #4, Byakurai." A bolt of lightning is sent through me, but the charge only travels through my body before vanishing. She looked confused and I remembered that she hadn't seen or heard about my zanpakutōs ability.
"Bakudo #9, Geki." I swiftly drew the symbols of the spell in the air. Red energy permeated my body and quickly consumed her, paralyzing her where she stood. "Hado #57, Daichi Tenyō." The ground separated in cubes on my command and was sent flying at Kuchiki. She let out a cry as they crushed her in unison, enclosing her in the earth. When the stones fell, she collapsed with them, both her hands on the ground keeping her up on her knees. Her breath was ragged, her hands shook as she gripped her zanpakutō. I watched as she pierced the ground around her in a semi-circle, building an attack. Ice particles float from the holes she created and she took a battle stance as she stared me in the eyes.
"Tsugi no mai, Hakuren." A large avalanche of cold air rushed forward, flash-freezing me. I was enclosed in the ice and she sighed relieved, but this was only the beginning. She turned to walk away, ready to be crowned the victor, but suddenly all the kunai that was thrown earlier in the battle began releasing an electric charge. The temperature around them increased rapidly with each second that passed creating a pressure blast, soon there was a strong rumble from the sky that made heads turn. In a blink of an eye, a massive lightning bolt struck the block of ice, freeing me.
"Bankai." With the heightened power, I ball up my fist and beat the ground beneath me and the earth erupted in a straight line headed for Kuchiki. I noticed before it reached her that she leaned more towards the left indicating she was prepared to escape. "Hadō #63, Raikōhō." Her eyes widened as the yellow energy charged at her. With quick thinking, she blocked it with Bakudō #81, Dankū. The splitting void saved her from near-death, but the onlookers had to move hastily since it only protected those within the barrier.
"Bankai." Her physical appearance changed. Her dark hair turned white and she was dressed in a white ankle-length kimono. Her blade turned to transparent ice. The air near the onlookers cools tremendously on the other half of the clearing.

"Is there a reason why we're all here?" Mayuri complained to Shunsui. "Normally, only the people of the division have to take part in this mess."
"I rather not be here, it's heartbreaking knowing only one of them will come out of this alive." Isane's fist was clenched over her chest as she watched the battle.
"I received some unpleasant information from Shinji, and because of that we have some important things to discuss concerning Rukia, should she win." Shunsui answered them, keeping his attention on you and Rukia.
"Is this safe?" Rangiku asked. "The lightning seems to be striking randomly."
"It is random, but with a simple kidō spell, we should be alright since the ones from the sky are regular. At least they look regular." Ikkaku said.
"Captain, why'd you approve this trial?" Renji asked, staring at the ground. "Are you not scared of losing your sister?"
"Hitsugaya takes his work seriously, so I trust his judgment. If she was disrespectful as Rukia claimed, then he wouldn't have supported her." Byakuya explained. "I care for my sister, but this is the consequence of her actions."

The ice around Kuchiki began to sweat as the two of us continued to battle. By this time, I figured out how I would end her. None of the kunai I launched at her could successfully penetrate her skin since it was hardened, but thankfully the ones from earlier were still lodged deep inside her. If I can't destroy her from the outside, I will just send the attack inside.
"Strike, Royal Guard." An enormous amount of lightning was sent from all the kunai and straight toward Kuchiki and into the kunai stuck in her. She lets out a cry as her body is damaged internally. Her hair changed back as well as her clothes and she dropped to her knees. Her eyes were rolled to the back of her head while blood spilled from her mouth. Her body slammed into the ground and I approached it. Even though she was unconscious I could tell she was alive from her labored breathing. My zanpakutō assembled in my hands and I prepared to end her. I swung my sword down but stopped myself when it was at her neck, I couldn't do it. Yes, I wished she got punished for all she's done to me but killing her wasn't doing anything but taking her life, she can't mature if she's dead. I exhaled deeply and stood up, disbanding my sword and the kunai that littered the area. The temperature began to return to normal. I looked up towards the captains and took another deep breath, my clothes changing back to my uniform.
"I forfeit."
