"I agree with Ichigo," Renji said, crossing his arms. "Going against Captain Zaraki is too much for a new member. Why can't she go against Captain Byakuya?"

"Your captain is busy having tea with Urahara and besides it doesn't matter if he's strong as long as I prove I have a bit of skill." I answered before Rangiku so she wouldn't have to keep repeating herself.

"He has more experience and a higher reiryoku I'm sure."

"So you're saying I'm too weak?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "Aren't you just the best?" I teased, not caring for what he was saying. I understood what he meant but he failed to realize it didn't matter, Tōshirō was more powerful than my sister but she still had to battle him. Why didn't he protest then?

     "I'm just trying to help."

"I managed to stand my ground against Zaraki when I first infiltrated the seireitei." Ichigo reminded Renji only to receive a scowl.

     "She isn't you!" He argued.

"Let's fight already, we're wasting time." Kenpachi said, his voice filled with excitement. He was ready to cause destruction.

"If you say so. Awaken, my King." I reached my hand out and my long black sword with a shining gold hilt wrapped with black fabric appeared. Before we could even distance ourselves from the others, Kenpachi launched himself at me with his well-known toothy grin, but I dodged, only receiving a small cut on my cheek from the near-miss. I didn't care since I managed to make a deep cut across his chest within the time.

"That's good but it's not enough." I started feeling a bit cocky. The thrill of fighting started to consume me. I held the ribbon at the end of my sword and swung the weapon a bit before flinging it at Kenpachi. He dodged and the floor ruptured from the attack sending debris into the air. Kenpachi gripped his sword with both hands and brought it down, but I pulled back my sword using it to push against his own. The ground beneath me slowly caved as he applied pressure. Seeing no way out I removed a hand from my hilt and pulled back my index finger with my thumb and flicked it in his direction. Kenpachi is sent flying backward and I laughed at the sight.

"Bankai." I didn't see a point in delaying its use when he was more powerful. If I wanted to make it through without serious damage I would have to increase both my speed and strength. My clothing changed to a thin camel brown cloth outfit with slits on the side. Though the material was thin it was tough. My hair, acting as a mane, grew longer and the color turned into a golden brown. I raced towards Kenpachi and cut him across the chest again making an x. As I started to pull the sword away he grabbed the blade intending to throw my zanpakutō out of reach, but before he could close his palm I slid it out of his hand creating a deep gash. He chuckled from the exhilaration and swung his sword rapidly, I crossed my arms in front of me trusting that the material of my clothing wouldn't be damaged. Knowing that the attack was going nowhere he changed his aim and went for my side, successfully creating a slash.

"Maybe I overestimated you." He mocked, pulling his leg back and kicking me in the gut. A choked gasp escaped my mouth as his foot pushed further into my stomach. I heard a scream from my sister, but the clock was still ticking and Kenpachi was only just getting started. He gripped his sword with both hands once more and brought it down, rather than blocking it with my sword like the last time I pointed my sword in his direction at the last minute so he couldn't move out the way in time. An electric bolt of lightning ran towards him, going straight through his body. Surprisingly he didn't collapse; he only prepared to make another attack, so I did it again and again. Strange usually people are approaching death after that. At this point, there were three holes in his body, and yet he still stood strong, leaking blood, but strong nonetheless.

"Hadō 32, Ōkasen" I fired the yellow energy towards his injury, but he easily deflected the attack towards the others causing them to flee the area hastily. "Show no mercy, my king." I slice the area in front of me and an enormous charge of lightning shaped in the form of a lion rushed towards Kenpachi, but rather than simply going through, it leaps into him. He's thrown off chuckling at my efforts to defeat him, but his laughter paused when a pair of large claws ripped him up from the inside out while sending a large voltage of electricity through him.

"That's enough!" Rangiku shouted. Orihime aided the captain, his back now looking untouched. His endurance and strength were stunning, I found myself wishing I could reach his level someday. Hopefully, I will be learning from him. I could learn more.

"Welcome to Gotei 13, you're gonna be Kenny's new best friend." Yachiru said, handing me my new clothing.

"Trust me, it won't be fun," Ichigo said, earning a glare from Yachiru. "He will try and fight you every hour of the day."

"That was impressive." I turned to see Renji and couldn't help smiling from the compliment. "We should train together." He suggested and I agreed.
