Twice. This was the second time I'd gotten Mia in bed with me. Is she finally warming up to me? God I hope so. She felt more...free. Her hands were in my hair, her legs wrapped around me. I gotta say, it was better the second time.

I laid happily in the dark. Things were going so well with Mia. Though, we had our ups and downs. I took a glance at her and saw the outline of her shadowed body on her side, her back turned to me.

She looked like she was shaking. I pushed myself up a little and pulled the covers over her more, scooting closer and lacing an arm around her waist.

I closed my eyes again and felt bliss.

I love Mia.

And Mia loves me.

When I woke up, Mia was gone. I felt around for my lamp and turned it on, lighting up my dark room. My bathroom door was open, so she wasn't in there. I rubbed my face and sighed. I hated having this stupid table over my window. I could no longer tell whether it was day or night and it just looked hideous in my bedroom.

I got up and took a shower and brushed my teeth. I went to the kitchen and smelled something good. "Mia?" I asked, walking into the kitchen. There she was in a cute, messy, bun, and a big sweatshirt. I wasn't sure if she was wearing anything underneath but I sure wanted to find out.

I walked up behind her and snaked my hands on her hips and rested my chin on her shoulder. Damn, she had something. "Hey, Drew." Mia said in a soft voice.

"Good morning, honey. What are you making?"

"French toast."

"it smells good." I kissed her neck a few times.

"Thank you. But, I doubt they're going to be as good as your food." she giggled.

"Aw don't say that." I frowned.

"I'm not really a cook." she replied, flipping one awkwardly.

"It just takes practice, sweetheart."

"But I don't have patience." she laughed, making me laugh too. I undid myself from her and I heard her sigh. I poured myself a glass of water and chugged it down.

"When are they going to be done?" I asked. "I'm starving. You wore me out." she froze for a second but then turned around with a tight lipped smile. She sashayed over to me, giving me a kiss on the lips, surprising me.

"They're almost done. Just two more to go."

"What was that for?" I ask as she returned to the stove.

"What was what for?" she asked, shifting on her feet.

"The kiss?" I replied in a 'duh' tone.

She shrugged and made the 'I don't know' noise. "Can't I kiss my..boyfriend?"

"Of course you can." I replied. "I was just curious is all." she hummed and turned off the stove, placing some dishes in the sink.

"Pop a squat, breakfast is done." she replied, grabbing some syrup and forks. I made my way to the couch and awaited the food. I really need to get another table but now I'm not even sure I can get one because I don't have a car anymore. I'm not walking some ungodly miles, hauling a table over my shoulder.

Mia set the plate stacked with french toast. She handed me a fork and sat on her folded leg, distributing the french toast between us, while humming. "You seem in a good mood today." I point out.

she shrugged again, drowning her toast in syrup. After she was done, I poured some onto mine and took a bite. I chewed a little and noticed Mia was waiting for my response to them.

"These arnt too bad, sweetie." she smiles "I think maybe you should've added more milk and egg but they're pretty good. and you didn't burn them! Nice job."

"Thank you." she replied, taking a bite of hers. "I was scared they were going to be inedible."

"No, you did fine, sweetness. I'm proud of you."

"Aaaa, thank you, Drew." her face flushed as a smile spread across her face. Some hair fell out her bun and she looked at me through her lashes. God, I just wanted to fuck her again.

We finished eating and cleaned up. Mia told me to wait on the couch, so I did. she ran to her room and came back out with a paper. She handed it to me and smiled, "I drew us!"

I examined the very well drawn picture. At the top, it read 'I love you!!' I couldn't help but shake my head and chuckle.

"Where is all of this coming from?" I ask, looking at her. "The breakfast, the kiss, your good mood, this drawing. Are you sure you're feeling fine?"

"I'm perfect, Andrew!" her smile was so wide, it looked fake. "When you said Hannah didn't even care the other day...and when you said how much you loved me, everything snapped into place. I realized you're the only one I need! You love me unconditionally and, I realized I love you too. Like-I really really do."

"You're dead serious?"

She nodded furiously. I jumped up and gave her a kiss. "Oh thank you baby, you've made me so happy!" I kissed her over and over. My heart filled with joy. Now we'll finally be together forever as a family! "does this mean you won't try to run?"

"Yeah, no more running. Who do I have to go back to? Everyone thinks i'm dead. You're the only one I need." and with that she gave me a hug.

"Oh Amelia..." I hugged her back. "words can't express the happiness I feel." I pulled back and held her face in my hands. "I love you so much."

"I love you too." she peeled away from me, sashaying to her door. I couldn't help but think nothing was under her baggy sweatshirt and god- it got me excited. "Now, Im going to go to my room. you know where to find me." she said, playing with her fingers, and that threw me off.

"What are you doing with your fingers?" I ask, trying not to sound obvious.

"Oh! I uh- it's just a hangnail. You know, girl problems."

"Ah. Alright." I grab the paper. "I'm going to pin this to my wall. Thank you for the breakfast, sweetness."

"You're welcome." and with that, she shut the door. I don't know what came over me but it was a strange feeling. I couldn't tell if it was a good or bad one. I think Mia had just gained my full trust? I had to write this down.
