Pete's pov:
"No snow this year, this is hella depressing, Pete", Patrick sighed, looking frustrated at the streets he wished were covered in white snow.
"I know, but maybe next year", I said, laying my hand on his shoulder.
"It won't, it didn't snow last year, the year before, let's face it, I'll never see snow again except I'll move to Canada", he said, letting out a loud groan.
"At least we don't have any heavy blizzards here", I said, " this would be worse."
"You're probably right with that."
I turned around to walk into our kitchen, taking a cup of hot chocolate, which I gave Patrick.
"Here, maybe you'll feel better and have more Christmas vibes", I said, grinning.
"Thanks, Pete", he said, sipping the hot liquor.
If it only could snow, I thought, he would be a lot happier than he is now. And I would do anything to see a smile appearing on his face.
I had an idea, but I need help.
"I'll go outside, shopping a bit, I'll be back later", I said, giving him a small peck on his cheek.
"Ok, just don't come to late, alright?"
"Of course", I said, putting a jacket on, eventhough it's not quite cold outside, and walked out of the building, pulling my phone out to call Andy and Joe.
"Hey Joe", I greeted him.
"What's up, Pete?", he asked.
"I have an idea, but I need your help, do you still have this snow machine laying somewhere?....
☆
"So, your plan is to turn your place into a winter wonderland?", Joe asked, while he was searching for the machine in one of his shelves. He was quite messy I have to admit, no wonder he doesn't find any things here.
"Yes, exactly, Patrick wants snow so bad, maybe this could help", I said.
"But you know he'll notice that it's not really snowing, you know? Maybe someone should take him out for the day and then you can decorate and stuff, build the perfect winter location", Andy suggested.
"Yeah, good idea", I mumbled, "I'll call Brendon and Ryan, maybe they can spend the day with Patrick, so we'll have enough time", I said, already dialing brendons number.
After calling him and explaining the plan, they already made their way to Patrick. I think Brendon is even more excited than I am honestly.
Andy, Joe and I drove home, when we knew for sure, that Patrick was already gone. Fortunately Joe found the machine at the back of the most messiest shelve I have ever seen in my life.
We turned on some Christmas music and started to decorate, we put on Christmas lights, plastic reindeer and of course little elves. The last thing we did was the snow.
I opened the window and held the snow machine outside the building, let's hope it won't fall down.
"You ready, guys for the first snow this year?", I yelled from above, causing my friends to nod.
"Were hella ready!", Joe yelled back.
I smiled and the snow was flying out of the machine. It was beautiful to see the white dots falling down on the still green grass of our garden.
"Woohoo! Here comes the first snow!", I screamed, smiling bright.
"He will love it", Andy yelled.
"Of course he will", I said, "it was my idea. Andy, could you call Brendon and tell him that they can come home now?"
"Yup", he said, already holding his phone on his ear. After a while of talking he said:"they will be here in 30 minutes."
I still stayed with the machine at the window, letting the snow fall full of grace down to the ground, covering it in a blanket of white magic.
After 30 minutes I started to feel nervous. What if he doesn't like the surprise at all?
I mean, there is no going back now, he kinda has to like it.
Then I saw Brendon appearing on the other side of the street, followed by Ryan and my beautiful boyfriend.
I started to smile bright and waited for Patrick to look over my way. Ryan was the first one who took a look at the house, he tapped Patrick's shoulder, causing him to turn his attention to out house.
His eyes widened and he held his hands over his mouth. He took a few steps back, but the boys held him.
I saw in his eyes that he was smiling, grinning, because his eyes were laughing, what made my heart melt.
"Look Patrick! It snows!", I yelled, causing him to laugh.
"Pete! You're insane!", he laughed, but still smiling like a five year old kid who just saw a Disney movie.
"Do you like it?", I asked.
"If I like it? I love it!", he yelled, looking at me, "can you come down?"
I nod and put the machine on the windowsill carefully, before walking down to Patrick.
He immediatly hugged me tight and whispered into my ear:"thank you for doing this."
This was a perfect moment I never wanted to end.
So now we all sat here, in our garden, which was full of fake snow, looking at the other houses which were like on every summer day.
And our house was the only one with white and beautiful snow.
