James's hand was still rested over my heart and it was raising and falling with my breathing. Neither of us said anything, just sat watching each other. I was thinking about what I should be saying to him or if I should just curl up and go to sleep. Forgetting the evil that a seeped into my night. I soon realized that I did want to go to sleep I needed James, I needed him to heal me, I wanted him to stay with me. I smiled weakly at him titled my head to the side and pointed to my neck. James knew instantly what I wanted and that's how my night ended. It ended in happiness not sadness. Light not dark. Purity not impurity.
It must have been about mid-day as the sun was forcing its way through the curtains and the music from the party had stopped. I was too tired and hot to deal with all of the drama and heart ache from last night but I had to. I needed to get away from the world, my magic and the people I cared about as I was just going to hurt them and cause them pain. I had spent an amazing night with James and that's how I wanted to remember him and him to remember me. I carefully got out of bed and found a pen and paper. I quietly began to write a note.

Once I had finished the note I got dressed and texted Jeremy saying I was going away for a while and I would text him on my return. Before leaving the cabin to make my way I placed my motor-bike keys on top of the letter and the amber stoned ring I always wear. Just so that he would have something to think of me.
I grabbed my jacket and left the cabin, as I didn't have my bike I had no choice but to use my magic to get a way. I didn't have a place in mind so I just teleported away from the lake and hoped for the best.
I opened my eyes to the new surroundings I was facing and it took me a while to figure out where I was. I was standing in snow and I was looking out on a beautiful landscape. I looked around me for a while before I noticed a log cabin. I walked over and saw the name on the plaque; it read 'Snow-drop of James' the name instantly told me where I was. I was in my sister's old log cabin. Seeing as she was back at college, I knew she would never come back here as she hated the place I decided to stay here.
I cast a spell to protect myself and to hide my location from James so that he wouldn't be able to find me, until I was ready. I gathered some wood and started a small fire, so I could keep warm and warm some water. My phone was going crazy message after message from James and Jeremy. I knew that it was going to happen but I didn't expect it so soon. I picked up my phone and sat down in the arm chair by the fire to read the text from James and Jeremy.
James's text are shown below:
'Lily, where are you. Come back right now. You don't get to decide on what's best for me or how I should be protected that is mine not yours!!!'
'I'm not joking Lily. Please come back here so we can talk. I understand you're in pain but your destiny is linked to mine and that means we are supposed to be together not apart'.
