Learning About the Payne's

(A/N This is Liam and Leeroy. Just imagine the Leeroy isn't so blond. Also sorry about the crappy picture. I took it with my phone on my laptop.)

Niall's P.O.V

      I get up in the morning determined to find out more about the twins. I'm not going to be like I was yesterday. In class, I would raise my hand and answer questions but other than that I didn't talk much. I can easily gain more friends by being my usual loud and quirky self.

This is a new chance of letting people see who I am.

As I am walking to school, I start to think of questions to ask Liam and Leeroy; How old are they? I assume they're older because they aren't in any of my classes. Do they have any other siblings? Which one is the brains and which one is the brawns? 

       When i reached campus, I see Harry alone which is kinda surprising, i expected him to be with Lou since they're so close, they might as well be attached by the hip. I run up to him and yell, "Hazza!" while i attempted to jump on his back. He couldn't help but laugh at my measly efforts and pocketed his phone. "Where is the sass masta from Doncasta today?" I ask. Harry just points behind me with a small smirk.

"Don't think you'll get rid of me that fast, Nialler." I hear Louis' voice say behind me.

"Oh, i would never, Mr. Tomlinson." I said as i turned to him and gasped dramatically.

"Well, someone's a sarcastic ass today and that's not me." Lou bit back playfully.

I roll my eyes at him as i smiled before turning to Harry. "So, where's the football field?"

That's when they both realized that I had another bag besides my backpack.

"It's behind the school. But, if you want, i can take you there and show you around so you won't get lost." Harry said.

"As long as it's okay with you guys? I don't want to intrude or take up too much of your time."
I said guiltily.

"Of course not! I'm going that way, anyways, i have to make a few errands there before i meet up with Lou." He insisted as Lou nodded along.

I agreed, feeling greatful of having made such amazing friends, as Harry told me to meet him after class.

I smiled and bounced off, running to find the nerds I saw yesterday. I find them and ask one who I saw in my maths class about the homework from yesterday. We get into that conversation before I'm off and running again. I find myself giggling like a lunatic until I run into someone. He looks to be about 2 years older than me and already has quite a few tatoos. I can smell the smoke on him and realize that he is one of the rebels. I'm about to smile when he gives me the worst glare and it's terrifying and menacing. I gulp and scramble to get into the building as its nearly time for school to start. 

I don't see either of the Payne's on my way to class but that's kind of expected. I'm pretty sure they're a year above me. I can't wait for lunch though. I have to talk to them both.

Time went by so fast and it was finally lunch time before i knew it. I rush to the cafeteria and got in line for food. I quickly grabbed some edible food and started looking around for Harry, Lou, Liam and Leeroy. I finally spot them at the same table as before. Except it's only Liam that I see, not Leeroy too. Once I get to the table I rather abruptly ask Liam, "Where's Leeroy? Why isn't he here?" He raises his eyebrows in surprise at my abruptness but answers either way, "We usually only sit together at lunch once a week. Our circles don't usually intersect at school." I'm confused. They are in different social circles. I guess its fair to try and have some time away from his twin. I just respond with an "OH". before stuffing my face. I can see both Liam and Louis laughing at me. I just smile and say, "You never know how long the food will be right in front of you." I am still laughing though. I see a fondness in Liam's eyes that I wasn't expecting. Looking at him reminds me I had questions to ask him. Just as I'm about to ask him he looks at his phone sighs and says he's going after telling Lou he'll see him at tryouts. I'm even more confused. I turn to Larry as I have decided to call them and ask them, "What was that all about?"

They looked at each other before explaining, "The Payne's are together. Liam probably went to find Leeroy because they do like to spend some time together while at school. Every chance Leeroy gets he comes to our games and the same for Liam except its for Leeroy's dance performances."

I'm surprised that Leeroy dances, but i should've seen that coming, with the warmers and all that.

"Hey Lou, are you still going to show me to the field after school?" I ask. He just nods his head. The bell rings and its back to class.

Fucking finally. It's time for tryouts. The classes seemed to go by so damn slowly i was ready to tear my hair out.

   I meet Louis by my locker after the last class. We hurry to the locker room that's by the field and got changed. We then head out to the field where there are a bunch of other guys around the coach. He's a gruff guy who starts telling some people who apparently were on the team last year that they have to try out just like the rest while others he says keep their position on the team. Liam and Louis are two that keep their positions. I run out to the field and start on the drills. They aren't hard and its clear to see that I'm a pretty good player. I look over to where the ones who keep their spot on the team were practicing and my breath catches as I see the Liam took his shirt off and was sweating like crazy. He might still be young but man, does he have an amazing body. 

     I manage to tear my gaze away and focus on football and I was doing great until the coach decided to make us scrimmage. Then I was faced with having to deal with both a shirtless Liam and Louis as they were skins. Once practice was done and I had showered I was ready to go home. I did have homework that needed to be done and a lot to think about from what Larry had told me about the twins at lunch.
