The First Chance (Niall and twin Payne's Liam and Leeroy

Spending time with Louis

Narrator's P.O.V

          The rest of the week in school passed by very quickly for all the boys. The day after soccer tryouts, Niall found out he made it to the team and also gave him an excuse to talk to Liam more. It's now Friday after school and Niall is heading over to Louis' after school to get some help on the homework and to just spend some time with him. They have gotten close in the past week and became really good friends.

 When Niall met Louis at the entrance of the school, they immediately started to walk to Louis' house. He only lives two streets over from where Niall lives, so the both of them took their time walking and chatting along the way. Not a moment later, the conversation slowly diverted to the inevitable topic, Niall starts asking Louis more questions about the twins. 

"Hey Lou, what's up with the twins? I saw them kissing but i don't think that's what normal siblings do" Niall scratched his neck, feeling bad and awkward all of a sudden, "i mean, i don't want you to take this the wrong way, i'm pretty open-minded. i'm just curious, I know you said that they were together, but you don't mean together together do you?"

 "Yeah, Ni, they are together together. They only dated one other person together and well it didn't work out so well. This was 2 years ago that they were last in a relationship involving anyone besides themselves. Since then they haven't bothered to date again." Lou responds somewhat sadly. He knows why the relationship failed. It's just not his story to tell. The twins need to tell Niall if they are in fact interested in him, which from what Lou was able to get from Liam they are. "Ni, just a warning my house is loud because of the girls. It's not easy being the only boy sometimes. If they start pestering us I'll just have my mum distract them with something." Lou says. Niall just gives his infectious laugh and says, "What are they going to try to paint  my nails or something?"Half joking half serious. "No, but they are very curious. I don't bring many people home unless its Haz or the twins. I mean I have friends on the team and drama club but we aren't as close as the twins and Haz. We used to have another friend but he got into the wrong crowd. He's also a year older than me so he probably wasn't super happy in our group. Mainly he had some beef with the twins and no one really knows why." Lou's eyes widen when he realized what he just said. "Ni don't mention what I just told you to the twins. It's something they are going to have to tell you when they are ready." Niall just nods but is even more curious. 

     They make it to Lou's house and already the squealing laughter of girls is heard. Lou grimaces because he knows that means they spotted him and Niall. He loves his sisters but sometimes they are just a little much. They make is safely inside before Lou's mum asks, "Boobear did you bring Harry home again? I thought you were going to be spending the weekend with your new friend." She stops short when she sees that it's not Harry but a blond boy around Harry's age. "Oh hi. What's your name son?" Niall's eyes are still wide from the nickname that Lou apparently has before answering, "My name is Niall and I'm from Ireland." She smile and points us up the stairs to where Lou's room is, while they were on the way she says, "I'll keep the girls down here while you two are doing your homework. Are you going  to stay for dinner Niall?" He shakes his head before saying, "My mum's expecting me to come home for dinner." She just smiles before corralling up the girls and making sure that they are going to leave the two lads alone. 

They two boys made it to Louis' room and got started on their homework. Niall asks Lou, "Can you tell me how you and Harry really got together?" Pain in his voice as he asks the question. "I will Niall but is there something that you need to get off your chest first?" responds Louis. 

Niall looks up and there are tears in his eyes. Louis sees that he struck a nerve but isn't going to back down. "There's something pretty big that I have to tell you. I haven't even told me parents about it."

A/N Yes I left this on a cliff hanger on purpose. You will hear more about why Niall moved to Wolverhampton next chapter. There's a lot going on in the next chapter.
