The First Meeting

Niall's P.O.V

I made up my mind.

I'm not going to be nervous meeting these two gorgeous boys, one of whom is already smiling at me. I'm going to be my usual self that Harry was quick to see; I'm loud and absolutely love to smile. I have been told that I have an infectious laugh and smile. As I approach the table I put on my best smile.

"Hey, Harry and Lou. Who are your gor- I mean -friends?" I stuttered.

Great. Just great. So much for not being a nervous wreck, Niall.

I mean, I almost called these boys gorgeous out loud! I couldn't drop the bomb on them now or anytime later. As soon as I spoke, I saw these boys have found interest in my accent. There must've been not a lot of people from Ireland. Of course, they must not know that I am Irish but they haven't said anything yet. Though my accent is fairly distinct as I have not lived anywhere else but Ireland until now.

"These two are the Payne twins, Liam and Leeroy." Harry says as he points first to the dark, curly haired boy and then to the blond one. I double take for a moment when he says twins. But now that I am closer to them, I see that they really are a lot more alike than I first thought.

One of them, I think it was Liam, says, "Hi. Are you from Ireland?" I tried to hide my smile and nodded my head. He's got the true Wolverhampton accent. I sit down and start to eat my lunch, but I noticed that the Payne twins kept on staring at me, ignoring their food. I start to wonder if there's something on my face so I quietly ask Harry "Is there something on my face?"

"No. Why do  you ask?" He responds.

"The twins are just staring at me. It's getting quite creepy."

Harry couldn't help but laugh and I frowned. The twins noticed my frown and realized that they were just blatantly staring, so they started firing off questions without even giving me a chance to answer them.

"When did you move here? Do you have any siblings? Do you play sports or are you more of a nerd?" They go back and forth asking me questions. I'm clearly overwhelmed and getting really flustered by the minute. That's when I hear Louis speak for the first time,

"Lads, lads, quit it. Can't you see he's overwhelmed. There's plenty of time to get to know him." I'm surprised that he doesn't have the Wolverhampton or Cheshire accent. I'm not sure where it's from exactly so I ask,

"Louis, where are you from? Your accent isn't from here either."

He smiles and says, "I'm the sass masta from Doncasta."

I couldn't help but laugh as he says where he's from with so much sass and confidence.

I actually started to ignore the twins in favor of talking to Louis. Harry is talking quietly with the twins giving me time to get to know Louis. I started asking him questions because I actually wanted to get to know him and I have a feeling that we are going to be really good friends.

"Hey Louis, do you have any siblings?" I ask.

He smiles and says he has four younger sisters and then continues on because he can tell I want to know more about him.
"I have four sisters. I'm on the football team with Liam actually. I'm also into drama. I'm in a lot of plays that the school puts on." He rattles all that off.

I then hesitantly ask the one question that had been on my mind since the morning, "How long have you and Harry been dating?"

He smiles a bright, lovesick smile and says, "Well, we've been in love with each other since childhood but we've only been actually dating for about a year. I asked him on a date and then, while on the date, I asked him to be my boyfriend."

The lunch bell rings and I get up to throw my garbage away then head to my next class after saying goodbye to everyone at the table. While on my way out, I noticed the twins by the bathroom in a rather compromising situation. Well, they were kissing and that caught me off guard because, they are siblings. I notice Harry and Louis walking by as well. Louis was carrying Harry's books for his next class. I couldn't help but coo at how adorable they are.
