The C.R.A.P Squad

A/N I will explain what C.R.A.P. means in this chapter. Not right away though.

Niall's POV

         I wake up on Monday not really ready to face today at all. The phone call I got while at the twins house is still heavy on my mind. I texted Louis later that day to tell him that the monsters from my past are going to be starting school here in Wolverhampton Monday which is today. Those monsters are Sean, my ex, and my four other ex best friends, James, Theron, Neal and Ryan. As I am walking to school those 5 boys are all that consume my thoughts. I am on the campus before I even realize it and head straight to the office where I'd agreed to meet Louis and Harry to make sure that what my brother called and told me is true. There's no one in the office and when I asked she said there are 5 new Irish lads coming next week. I breath a sigh of relief. One more week of what my new normal has been. Thankfully all the football spots are filled and we don't have room for any more. IF we did  I'd probably quit. I make it through the day and make it to lunch. What a relief that is. 

        I had a packed lunch today that was just a simple sandwich and crisps and an apple. I didn't want to admit how hard things were at home with our finances. Plus I am a growing lad and I need a lot of food. As I sit down at our table and start to eat the twins join us as do the oldest 4 on the football team. I know they want to help me cause they know I've been bullied for being gay before. I take me time studying the cafeteria around me suddenly a noise is heard and a group of 3 people walk in. Two guys and a girl. One of the guys and the girl look a lot alike while the other guy looks a bit different. They caught my attention. I nudge Harry who was sitting next to meet and ask, "Who are they Harry?" as I point to the group of 3 that caught my eye. He tells me, "They are the C.R.A.P. squad." I then ask, "What does crap mean?" Louis is the one who answers, "Crazy rich and popular. Santiago and Unique are twins and the guy following them is Shiloh, Unique's boyfriend. They are not good news. They tear people up without a thought."

            Once the C.R.A.P squad was introduced to me I look around again to see that they were looking at me and started walking my way. I got scared and nudged Leeroy this time. My voice had fled me for a moment so I gestured to the 3 who were making their way over. They came to our table and Unique says," Move you imbeciles. This is now our table." I am shocked and none of us move. Liam is the one who  responds,"This has been our table since last year when the three of us older ones started here last year. We aren't moving." They actually aren't paying attention to what Liam is saying though. All their focus is on me. Santiago speak up since he's on the football team with us, "Hey Niall you should join or group. After helping us win our game Friday we decided that you should join our group. Of course you'll have to leave these losers. They really aren't going to be there for you like we will be." I am shocked at what they are saying. I and gulping for a moment before I finally tell them my answer, "I'm not leaving my friends for you. I'm not like you at all. I am my own person and I don't need fake friends. Thank you but no. I'm not interested." I look directly at Santiago when I say this however he is not the one to respond. That's when I found out who the real leader is, Unique. Her face darkens as she spits out her response, "You'd rather be friends with the fags? Fine I will end you. You will wish you were never alive when I get done with you!" By the end of her rant she is screaming at me. What she says hits me hard since I have already struggled with suicide. I chose not to respond as they leave our table. I leave my lunch and forget about eating the rest of it since I lost my appetite. Lunch has ended and my thoughts are now consumed with what the CRAP squad is going to do to me to make me want to kill myself. 

       It's the end of the day and all the stress is getting to me. I am home and turn off my phone because I don't want to be stopped this time. I go to my bathroom and find my blades. I start cutting. A cut for every threat against me on my right wrist. Then I turn to my left wrist and cut 5 long and slightly deep but not deep enough to be dangerous cuts for my former best friends who are coming to Wolverhampton next week. I can't keep doing this. All the stress is finally getting to me and I'm not sure how it's all going to work out for me. I know the 5 are going to destroy me when I get here and more than likely out me to everyone in the school. Not everyone knows that I am gay. The only ones that do are Harry, Louis, Drey, Adam, Hayden and Mercury.  The twins don't because I'm not really fully sure about them. I still have my secrets that I have kept from Lou and Haz.
