Ashley and Brandon

Chapter 16

It was a brand new day, my alarm went off and i had to wake up, I really wish I wasn't even going to school today cause of what happened yesterday. I went to the bathroom to take my bath and I quickly rushed out and luckily it was a Friday and I love Fridays cause after today i can relax during the weekend. I got dressed, I put on a blue top, skinny jeans and a pair of white sneakers. After eating breakfast I headed to school. I am really very nervous and I have a project to work on with Brandon, I never thought I'd say this but, I really don't feel like working on a project right now. Yeah, said it but who would want to do a project in my condition, but still I have to make this work.
I got to school and saw Tania, she waved at me, I waved back.
Tania said,"Hey, good morning, hope you're okay now."
I said, "Yeah, I'm good, but I can't lie I'm still kinda nervous. But today is a brand new day and plus I shouldn't be thinking about the past."
Tania said, "Now, that's the kind of attitude I like."

We had different classes, Tania had English​ while I had history, so we agreed to meet after.

I headed to my class and took a seat, then suddenly, Brandon walked in and sat next to me. I was really nervous cause I didn't know why he decided to seat next to me, one cause there were many empty seats and he could seat anywhere else and plus, to think of it, he wasn't even offering history, I started to think to myself what he was doing here and why he picked the day after he and Chelsea broke up. The teacher came in and we started the class. Later on the bell had rung, the period was over and surprisingly, it took longer than expected, as if the universe wants Brandon and I not to leave the class. I snapped out of my thoughts cause I had to face the truth, the world does not revolve around Brandon and I. I grabbed my things and headed to my locker cause Tania and I agreed to meet there. I was coming down the stairs and I slipped but luckily, someone caught me and to my surprise it was Brandon.  We looked into each other's eyes, he was still holding me and I didn't mind, it was like the world stood still, he leaned in and wanted to kiss me but I had to resist the urge to kiss him back cause I didn't want it to seem like I was using he and Chelsea's break up as my advantage so, I gently pushed him, said sorry and ran away. I feel really bad for what I did back there, he looked really disappointed.

I walked to my locker, still thinking about what happened, then someone tapped me on my shoulder, I turned around and saw that it was Tania. She saw I was sad cause of the expression on my face. I told her everything that happened cause even if I tried I can't hide anything from her cause she's my best friend and she knows me very well.

Tania said, "Don't be sad, you had a good reason for you doing that. I totally understand you and trust me you did the right thing and I'm sure Brandon will understand."

She gave me a hug and it made me feel better. We both had a  free period and so we decided to go to the library to check out some books. I am really lucky to have a friend like her.

Sorry this chapter was a bit long but I had to make Brandon and Ashley come together and trust me, this is where the story really begins as you read more chapters, many things are gonna happen, secrets are gonna unravel. I am really enjoying writing this story. I'll try my best to be updating. Bye.
