Ashley and Brandon

Chapter 26

Tania's pov
It's been a day after you know what happened between Ashley and Brandon. I understand now that Ashley needs some space but I also think she needs a friend. I think I'll meet her later. It's a Sunday today, maybe I can cheer her up.

Ashley's pov
It's a Sunday my parents and I just came back from church. I didn't tell them what happened. I am still really hurt. I even cried myself to sleep yesterday. He really hurt me.

As soon as we came in to the house, I walked up to my room. I laid on my bed still feeling depressed and sad. Then someone knocks on the room of my door. "Come in!" I said and to my surprise it was my mom.

She sits beside me on my bed and asked, "Ashley, honey, is there anything you're keeping from me? Cause I've noticed that you've been quite off since you came back from your girls night out yesterday with Tania. Hope there's no problem."

I responded with a lie putting on a fake smile. "No mom, there's no problem. I'm just tired."

"Ashley, you can't lie to your mother. Now tell me what's the problem. Did you and Tania  have an argument?"

I replied, "No mom, it's nothing."

"Is it Brandon? Did he hurt you? Asked my mom.

I couldn't hold it anymore, I suddenly burst into tears.

My mom says, "Honey, what's wrong? Why are you crying."

I reply, "Mom, Brandon cheated on me. Turns out he and his supposed ex girlfriend was just using me. Mom, I feel so stupid and worthless.".

She then gives me a hug and says, "Honey, don't cry. Everything will be okay. You're a beautiful girl and any guy would want to be with you. He doesn't deserve your tears. But for now, try getting your mind off him.

I asked, "But how?'

Then someone knocks on the door, she checks and sees that it's Tania. Then she answered.

"Well, there's a good start. Tania can help you get over your heartbreak."

"Thanks mom. I love you." I said

"Love you too honey." She replied.
