"I still can't believe we're going to Riverdale high." Rule called out to Sweet Pea, curling her hair in long spirals and applying a bold red lip. A gray smokey eye that made her eyes look permanently lusty was what she chose for her eyes, perfectly matching her all black outfit of a long sleeve lace top that showed of her entire black bra, considering it was see through. Leather pants and thigh high boots completed her look, grabbing her phone and slipping it into her back pocket. "How you feeling after last night?" Sweet Pea questions genuinely, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. Truthfully, she hadn't let go of Sweet Pea all night and hadn't slept a wink, something no amount of makeup could hide. She shrugged, placing a light kiss on his cheek to avoid answering. "Ready to face the firing squad angel?" Sweet Pea leads her out the door, both of them hopping onto his bike. She laughed at his comment, getting drowned out by the roar of the motorcycle, speeding towards their new school.

Rule climbed off the bike, walking hand  in hand with Sweet Pea into the school with the rest of the serpents surrounding them. They all came to a halt at a welcome desk run by Veronica, Archie, Kevin, and a few others. "On behalf of the students and faculty here at Riverdale high i'd like to welcome you and tell you we're glad to have you!" Veronicas overly perky voice floods our ears, handing out our locker combinations and schedules. Everything seemed fine, until Cheryl along with half of the student body including Reggie, who winked at Rule, blocked their path. "Ah," Rule sighed in relief as they descended the stairs "finally the other shoe drops." She steps up, face to face with the rest of the students, Reggie raking his eyes over her outfit and glaring at her entwined hand. "Cheryl, no one invited fascist barbie to the party." Veronica snapped.

"Wrong Veronica, no one invited south side scum to our school," Cheryl paused when she saw Rule "except Rule. Listen up ragamuffins! I will not allow Riverdale High's above average GPA suffer because of classrooms that are overcrowded with underachievers." Rule loved Cheryl, but sometimes she wanted to smack her. Like now. And from the look on Toni's face, she did too. Rule was internally disappointed since she thought they would make a cute couple. "Why don't you come over here and say that to my face!" Toni snapped, inching forward with Rule right beside her, having abandoned Sweet Peas hand. "Happily queen of the buskers!" Cheryl retorts, Reggie at her side. "Okay guys, let's just try to get along." Archie interjects, Reggie interrupting him. "You don't speak for the bulldogs Andrews and I will remind you these greasers showed up at your place trying to kick your ass." Rule laughed, drawing all attention to her. "And need I remind you Reginald that I did kick your ass!" Laughter breaks out across the southsiders and some of the northsiders, Reggie turning a little red. "And i'll be happy to finish what we started!" Sweet Pea snapped and would have rushed at Reggie had Rule not blocked his path. Thankfully Principal Weatherbee chose that exact moment to step in, telling everyone to get to class. Everyone scattered, Rule and Sweet Pea taking off to biology.

Around lunch time the southsiders and friendly northsiders met in the lounge, Veronica introducing herself to everyone. "And i'm Josie Mccoy," Rule zoned out after that, not liking the way Sweet Peas eyes lingered a little too long on her before Rule accidentally elbowing him in the ribs. Kevin finally introduced himself, asking Fangs what his name was. "Fogarty, but you can call me Fangs." He replied, Rule not missing the way they looked at eachother. "It's Keller right?" Fangs continues at the confused look on his face "Joaquin and I used to hang out, he talked about you all the time." Kevin nodded suspiciously. The friendly gathering was broken by Weatherbee demanding the serpents follow him, which they did. To a snake drawn on the floor, Reggie standing over it smugly. It resulted in not being able to show their tattoos or wear serpent jackets anymore, to which everyone on the southside was pissed about. Rule made a mental note to kick Reggies ass later.

"What's wrong?" Sweet Pea asked Rule after school, noting how she'd elbowed him in the ribs. "Are you getting along with Josie okay?" He didn't miss the tone of jealousy in her voice as she answered. "You're jealous?" Rule clenched her jaw, trying her best not to hunt Josie down. "There's nothing to be worried about Angel, I only see you." But somewhere in the pit of her stomach, Rule wasn't convinced.

The very next day, Jughead decided to make a statement by wearing his jacket to school. Reggie started to walk up to him, Rule stepping forward and landing a punch to Reggies nose when he lunged for Jughead. Needless to say, they all got detention and Jughead, who Rule called a dumbass, got suspended.

A few days later, much to Rules dislike, they all had to wear uniforms, which Rule unbuttoned since she felt like she was being choked. But on the bright side, Sweet Pea definitely liked the sight of Rule in her skirt. Jughead forced all the serpents into a classroom later on that day, telling them they're now all apart of a club called the swords and serpents. Of course they had the front of a gaming club, which Rule honestly wouldn't have minded considering its been a while since she played call of duty. "So for now we lay low in the tall grass." Once everyone had agreed they all went their separate ways home, with the exception of Rule and Sweet Pea who always rode together like the annoying little couple they were.
