"We have rules for a REASON!"

That's what they all say, how stupid.

For quite sometime, our world has changed from back then a long time ago. Millions of years to be in-fact. Such exquisite animals at the time that lived millions of years ago before man, that they were very magnificent as well as they were dangerous.

The calls of the different pterosaurs filled the misty skies of the early morning. Old trees that stood taller than the man-made buildings of man went up into the endless sky that was softly layered by clouds.

The soft chittering of rodents and small mammals were on the ground as well as the trees branches. All of this together with various insect songs, and the wind blowing brought forth a relaxing tone.

"Where do you get off!"

That voice.
That annoying voice!

Eyes snap open wide, a lone raptor that lay on the ground alone slowly lifts his head that rested upon a long muscular neck. A small collection of quill like feathers were on the back of his head, neck, and arms, his eyes had red coloring around sharp amber eyes. These feathers were a onyx color that connected to dark chocolate skin, while his underbelly was a lighter brown of chocolate which was similar to cocoa powder.

A striking white line with light red peppered the both of his sides upon his hide giving him a eccentric color unlike others of his kind. His claws were lethal looking for they were the same color of black that his feathers were, and as a deep breath escaped him did he finally stand.

Muscular legs that twitched from the light sensation of the leaves touching his hide. All around him was heavy forestry, as long vines came down from the trees. It was a very calm summer, though extremely hot.

"Get out of here or else!"

"I have had it with you!"

"You have crossed the line!?!"

That voice with many others boomed within the deep corners of his mind, his eyes narrowed as his thoughts came to him. To the curious of eyes he was staring at nothing as he stood there completely still, but little did they know was that he was thinking back to his past. That was the only way to make his mind cease its accursed nagging.

The world that was moving forward slowly but surely went backwards to a different place in time. The time when the rogue was with the pack that he dare not talk about in a positive way.

"I wanna hunt!", squeaked a rambunctious hatchling who was following his mother who clicked in laughter to her son. Her head looked at her child and soon to her children for she had more than one.

The mother was very different from the males for she had no quills upon her lean frame. This female was the leader of the pack, and most of the other members of the pack were male. They listened to her, after all she was wise and quite skilled as a leader. The other females that were in the pack were the leaders siblings younger than her by a hour or two.

There was several nests around the raptors, for they tended to all of the offspring like nurturing parents. Numbers were good especially when it came to hunting the largest of animals.

The pack resided near a roaring waterfall, with large trees that gave proper shelter from the harshest of rains and sunlight. The trees also made good nesting grounds for there was a few holes under them that the pack dug out to make proper little dens. This way the eggs were hidden away from hungry eyes of other creatures that loved eating eggs.
