The roaring of the waterfall, the cold touch of running water as it rain down below to a greater source of water. Misty smoke that came from the water did very well in hiding the two raptors who had fallen down below. Rahon got up with heavy wounds upon his neck and nape, his body shivered violently after the fall.
Mamba came out behind Rahon slowly, a wicked smile came across his maw.
Now! I can take the alpha rank and no one can tell me what to do! They will have to do what I say!
Mamba's body shook in excitement, his claws upon his toes twitched eagerly. He lunged at Rahon but yelped loudly as another raptor intervened by lunging at his side, the one who did so was Rayne.
The water splashed loudly as Mamba was tackled into it, Mamba slowly got up afterwards and his amber eyes narrowed at the sight before him. Rayne and the pack were shielding Rahon, and they didn't look pleased. They looked furious.
"I have had it with you!", barked Rayne furiously.
"Get out of here or else!", snapped the other males of the pack, every single raptor has had enough of Mamba and his ways. The hatchlings who watched from the distance showed fear as they lay in their nests.
Even Rayne's sisters gave him very different looks, for all of them looked at him like he was a threat. Which was quite funny for he didn't see them as raptors, only pieces of meat.
They got in the way! I almost had it!
"This is none of your business! I am going to take over the pack and you can't stop me!", snarled Mamba whose maw was partially bloody.
It was a common practice among raptors to fight against each other for the alpha title, but this time was different. The raptors of the pack literally saw Mamba as a threat and like all threats they needed to be disposed of. Mamba being blind to this learned it the hard way.
In a instant, Rayne gave out a barking call. The pack responded as they all began to surround Mamba with their talons ready. Their eyes looked at Mamba with hostility, they had lost their respect for him. He was a very dangerous creature, and they couldn't have him here. Not with the hatchlings who were still young.
Mamba saw the looks they gave him, his eyes showed confidence but it quickly went away when the whole pack began walking toward him. The cries that came from the pack were fully aggressive. Amber eyes that belonged to Mamba watched as Rayne helped Rahon stand, she looked at him with worry before looking at Mamba with fire within her eyes. Her final words were greatly harsh, and as dry as sand.
"Don't ever come back. You do I will not hesitate to kill you."
Mamba blinked as raptor after another raptor began running at him and snapping at his feet as well as his face. Their anger grew the more he slowly moved away, they had have enough of him. If he doesn't leave now, they would kill him.
This was not supposed to happen! Imbeciles!
"I won't come back alone! I will make a pack of my own and I will kill every single one of you!", snarled Mamba as he quickly ran away into the dense bushes. He had left his pack and his home for good.

Weaklings! They will regret the day that they mocked me!
His past was a time that always haunted him, it matters not what time of day for it always flooded back to him. Mamba looked at his side, the cries of pterosaurs were loud in the humid sky. The lone male seemed to be handling this well, for he didn't have any rules to follow.
He was free.
Freedom at last! His talons flicked upon his long arms that were on his chest, his long tail was strong as it maintained his balance as he walked. Amber eyes were alert as he looked around for food.
