Part XI~Bonding

There was new found life running about after the hatching of Talon's and Mamba's eggs. It was lively and somewhat overwhelming at times, for the young raptors were running around and exploring the place that was their home. Every day it was the same thing, which meant that this would be a constant occurrence. Mamba being the leader that he was now, had to bring back more food. It indeed was a big responsibility, but he could handle it.

Besides it was not all bad, seeing that Talon seemed extremely happy with her offspring. She was even walking around with them to watch them explore as well as play.

Talon even mentioned something to him about naming them, which was quite puzzling to Mamba. He had never named anything before, so this was a big deal especially to Talon who seemed really happy as well as interested.

He was thinking about names, even now as he sat in the sun after bringing back food for his pack and family. Tail flicking, and nostrils flaring. Mamba was thinking incredibly hard about names while he watched the offspring eat the food that he had brought back.

Names....names.....names....

Mamba looked at each little raptor that was his children. He nodded afterwards once he saw his son, for he knew what the name of his son would be. It was rather typical, and didn't Adonis call his son a 'mini-me?'

Shaking his head after thinking that, did he stand up and approach his family. Talon was rather focused on her little babies to notice Mamba, it was when he stood beside her did she immediately took notice of him and his presence.

"So? Have any thoughts on names?", was the first thing out of Talon's maw in raptor tongue. She looked at him with such interest and affection, just about all of the pack could see their bond.

Nimbus watched them from afar, with a rather patient gaze. His cranium shifted to Adonis however for he yawned a little to loudly for the elders liking, it was clear that hunting took a bit out of Adonis.

"Jr for our son.", replied Mamba. He blinked in a funny way to Talon whose tail wagged quickly, for she was happy that he actually did think of a name. It didn't matter if the name was long or short, she was just happy to see Mamba care about their children together.

Mamba's face remained a bit puzzled before easing up once he saw how happy Talon was.

Talon looked at little Jr as she let out a rather soothing sound from her maw, before looking at Mamba when he said. "You are going to have to name the daughters though, cause I don't really know of any female names...?"

Adonis snickered after hearing that, and Mamba frowned as he looked his way. Adonis was not the only one in his laughter for Talon soon joined in, the moment she started laughing did Mamba look away a little shy like. He realized then, how he must of looked after saying what he did.

"Just look at them, I am sure a name will come to you.", comforted Talon after her laughter as she looked at him and she then looked toward the youthful little ones who were eating their fill of the food that was brought back to them by Mamba, Nimbus, and Adonis.

One little raptor caught Mamba's eyes not long after, and it was probably cause the little daughter of theirs who were completely brown in color with blue eyes. She was chasing after Jr after she was done eating, she was so full of lively energy.

"Chayse?", was what Mamba said curiously and within the moment.

"I love it!", happily replied Talon.

"Such a fitting name it is.", nodded Nimbus who was pleased to seeing the both of them thinking about names for the little ones.

"How about Malibu for that one there?", suggested Adonis as he looked at the little girl whose colors were mixed of both of her parents. Her sharp gold eyes were staring at him as she looked ready to pounce at him while he sits next to Nimbus. He looked a little uneasy, for she looked ready to get at him. It definitely brought a smile on Mamba's maw, to see Adonis scared of a little raptor.
