Softly the wind began to blow, bringing a calm and gentle tone to the pack who were all around each other and resting. Talon was nestled beside her nest, as she lays in the nest that she made for herself and Mamba. Nimbus being the elder, was resting nearby for he was being very helpful to Talon.

Nimbus was a patient creature that sees to the pack, by giving them helpful advice. That and he helps them through very difficult moments. Since he was an elder, he has seen many things as well as lived much longer than the rest of the pack. Then there was the teenager of the pack.

Bringing in a very energetic energy to the pack, Adonis was the life of the party at some moments. Though very young and being a teenager, he had a strong ambitious heart who was also very kind and loyal. Adonis has definitely showed what he could do for the pack, and his handicap was not going to get in the way of that.

Then there was Mamba, the alpha of the pack.

Mamba actually was the only one who was not asleep at this very moment. The wind that was blowing was that of the early morning, for the air was calm and inviting.

I am going to be a parent...

His voice and thoughts were all focused on the same subject still, and that was how he would be a parent soon. Mamba slowly looked at Talon and the nest with very attentive eyes, his long tail was still as it kept his balance level.

Mamba's eyes some what eased as he looked at Talon, for she has went through so much. Much like himself.

Nimbus was a blessing, that was for sure. Even if just thinking such thoughts made him look bothered, this was the truth. If Nimbus hadn't of came by when he had, then well he would be dead and Talon would of met the same fate sooner or later. Seeing that Bael was just a heartless coward.

Mamba tilted his head toward Nimbus now as he thought to himself, for he was standing in front of the mouth of the cave. The bubbling water and the calm breeze outside, really made him feel at peace. This place didn't seem like much either, but it was starting to feel like a home.

The home he was banished from was still on his mind, but the feelings he was starting to have for this new home really made him feel comfortable. As comfortable as he could ever feel in this point in time.

Mamba knew that this won't last long
however, since Bael was still out to get them. Wherever he was now.

Being with this new pack and listening to Nimbus, he was actually starting to show a different side to himself. Before when he was alone, he thought highly of himself. Mamba was very serious and strong, which was what gave him his confidence to begin with. Yet this blinded him to some extent.

This was also what brought his downfall in the last pack he was in for he had it all. He didn't know how many times either that he thought about it being a good thing, since well he felt that they were holding him back. They were also piles of meat, but thinking about it further, did he feel that he was better than all of them. He also thought that he would be a better leader, but in reality he was viewed as a threat. Mamba didn't even like to think about it or his past but here lately it was always lingering on his mind.

Then he met Talon who reminded him of his mother, and this was something that he was quick to notice though he didn't even like thinking about it. Probably cause he didn't want to feel that pain of loss again. He just didn't like thinking about it but thanks to Nimbus was he taking it slowly.

Pain is a part of living.
Let it run its course.
Don't let it make you into something you are not.

These were the words of a elder who has seen many things, in his lifetime.
