The ceratosaurus looked at both raptors silently, their eyes were narrowed with a hint of sleep still among them. Mamba and Nimbus both watched this large predator closely, for they didn't dare to look away from them. Mamba blinked as the ceratosaurus yawned, quite loudly in fact while also showing both raptors their teeth.

If I didn't know any better?, this beast be teasing us...

Mamba's thoughts were obviously annoyed by this large predator before them. Though the beast was wounded, it didn't really see them as a threat. While Mamba was annoyed by them, Nimbus looked to be patiently waiting for them to say something. If anything at all.

"Where did you come from?", asked Nimbus who was fluent in his raptor tongue.

Mamba narrowed his eyes at Nimbus for he doubted that a ceratosaurus could communicate with them. Course his reaction was beyond hilarious when the ceratosaurus did speak to them, and even in their own tongue. "Quite a long ways away from here."

Mamba's eyes were very large in disbelief while Nimbus looked to be quite impressed. The ceratosaurus looked at the both of them silently now while shaking his head, it was obvious that he was still tired. The large predator was also a male for his voice gave it away.

"I see?" replied Nimbus who was also quick to ask. "How can you speak our tongue?"

The ceratosaurus blinked a few times before replying, "I have met a few of your kind, who were very trustworthy when I was younger. They taught me how to speak it. Though they all but perished sadly..."

Nimbus looked to be thinking about what he said closely, while Mamba stared at him in silence while trying to figure out if he could be trusted. Nimbus thought a bit more before saying what was on his mind, "so you were raised by raptors for a short time?"

The ceratosaurus nodded in his response, Nimbus looked greatly intrigued while Mamba still couldn't believe it. After all the both of them were so very different, and they didn't look alike either. The only thing that was the same about them was that they formed packs and that was all.

"Interesting? I honestly didn't think that raptors would take in a different species?", spoke Nimbus in great curiosity and wonder.

Mamba didn't know what to say as he watched the both of them talk, he then looked at Nimbus for a moment before looking at the male ceratosaurus with serious eyes. He then said while standing tall to show his confidence, "Can we trust you?"

The ceratosaurus looked at him firmly, the large predator was silent as he stared at Mamba who stood tall before him as he waited for him to respond. He could tell right away that the one who said this to him was the Alpha of his pack. Their looks and the strength that was within their eyes gave it all away. Nimbus was watching this interaction in silence, and truth be told he was very proud of Mamba and how far he has come.

"Yes, you can trust me.", was what the ceratosaurus said finally while looking at Mamba. "Your kind has never wronged me, so I will return the favor."

Mamba blinked once after his response finally sunk in, he merely nodded before turning away to return to their den. Nimbus merely looked at the ceratosaurus respectfully, "Thank you for your kindness."

The ceratosaurus looked at him and nodded, his posture was quite comfortable for he truly trusted these raptors. Nimbus looked at his wound before asking, "How did you get hurt?"

"Another ceratosaurus attacked me. I of course lost and was kicked out from my home.", replied the ceratosaurus who looked in the direction where he had came from. He looked to be reminiscing about his home, for his features looked to be troubled. Nimbus watched him in silence and he could see the pain on his face. The elder then nodded as he decided what was needed to be done. "I see. Well don't worry!, I will help your injury."
