Quickly he moved in a panicked manner, his long tail shook about as he tried to balance himself onto the dangerous wall that he was climbing. The sounds of the four raptors below seemed to urge him onward. This unstable wall or the pack of four.
Which would kill him first?

I am not dying today!

Mamba snorted loudly as he continued to climb, his claws were quickly grabbing at the wall. Each time he moved, rocks would fall down below which in turn would make the four raptors below move out of the way. Granted, this was suicide. But he wanted to live, and besides he was taking his chances with the wall rather than the four raptors who were waiting to maul him at any second.

Grunting loudly, he jumped up and grabbed a hold of a ledge. His claws sunk deep into the earth, and his legs kicked as he struggled to get up.

These wounds...
These blasted wounds!

They were making it difficult for him to get up, and he hated that more than anything else. His leg was still wounded, and he still felt a dull pain in his muscles that resided within his legs. Amber eyes closed tightly as he growled loudly, and his body finally cooperated with him.

Finally!

Mamba didn't waste any time, after he made it up did he run off and he smirked when he heard the angered calls of the pack behind him. He got away.

Pfft! Not only are they cowards! They can't even climb!

The lone male chirped deeply within his muscular throat, he was laughing at that pack. They needed to be laughed at for they were a disgrace among all raptors. Mamba kept going, though his body begged him to stop. The farther away he gets from that pack the better off he would be.

When he did finally stop did he come across a small waterfall, the trees were all around it. It looked like a small oasis, but it was within the jungle. His nose smelled the area, his keen amber eyes looked around closely for any type of movement. When there was none did he approach the waterfall, and he allowed himself to take a drink. As the water entered his maw did he hear a call behind him, it was another raptor.

His head shot up and he looked around in desperation to hide. Though, he was strong and experienced in fighting. He would be a complete idiot to take on a raptor pack all by himself. That and he was wounded. He was smart enough to know that he would not be able to take on a bunch of cheaters.

They were all a disgrace, and he knew that they would cheat as well.

Mamba shifted toward the waterfall, the water washed over him in its cold embrace. He winced when it hit the wound on his back. By using the water would it hide his scent. However, amber eyes blinked as he took notice of a small cave like chamber behind the small waterfall. He quickly took advantage of that as he hid behind the pouring wall of water.

He watched as the water fell, distorted figures appeared before the water as he watched from behind the lightly roaring water of the waterfall. He soon picked up voices. Raptor vocals.

"Did you find him?", huffed a raptor.

"Unfortunately, we lost him.", replied another.

Mamba was listening closely as they communicated, he was curious as to what this pack was called. His black quills laid flat upon his head, and he was breathing slowly as they chirped to one another.

"Bael isn't to happy. We got to find him."

"How? He could be miles away by now?"

Bael..?

Mamba narrowed his eyes at the mention of that name. If only he could see their figures more closely, but alas the water was making it difficult for him to see which was who.
