Where did she go!?!
Why did she go out on her own!Panicked Mamba's thoughts as he was looking everywhere for his daughter, Malibu. The mere thought of her being out and alone worried him to no end. As he looked all over while trying to desperately pick up her scent, did he eventually find it. He had searched for her for a good hour or so, and he was finally glad to have a lead. The morning was still evident as it blessed the land of both its light and warmth. Continuing forward on his search for his daughter, did he become more aware of the difference of land. He was heading a good ways away from the meadow, which terrified him.
Just why did she come out this far?Mamba was diligently looking for his daughter still, and he was firm on her trail. He stopped however when he took notice of a faint new scent, one that he didn't know. Immediately his mind went into overdrive thinking that his daughter was being harmed.
Not on my watch!?!
Mamba ran forward as fast as he could, his amber eyes alert for any kind of movement ahead. He blinked wide eyed however when he suddenly ran into something or rather his daughter who ran into him. "..!"
"DAD!?! What are you doing!?!" barked Malibu in great surprise of being run over by her father.
The both of them tumbled onto the ground and slowly they began to recover from the fall. Malibu shook her head as she stood up, while her father was quick to get up and look her over. Mamba was searching for any kind of harm on his daughters body, and since he didn't find any did he sigh.
"Dad! Seriously what is going on?" clicked Malibu as her head tilted to look at him. "Why did you all of a sudden run me over!"
Mamba blinked before frowning, his amber eyes shook in worry. "I was looking for you! Do you realize how worried your mother and I were when we didn't see you in your nest!"
Malibu's head lowered in embarrassment due to the worry she had caused her parents. "I'm sorry! I honestly was hurrying home! I meant to be back before anyone noticed, guess it didn't work?"
Mamba sighed again with his eyes closed in relief, but he opened them quickly due to remembering the new scent. "Who were you seeing! Just why on earth did you go out on your own!"
"Dad I can explain! You see? I met another raptor and figured on getting to know him?" smiled Malibu as she looked behind herself as she recalled her talk. "We talked so much and before I knew it time flew!"
Mamba's face was rather priceless as he listened to his daughter, he glared a bit however. "You snuck away from home and caused us to worry to meet a raptor? A raptor we don't know!"
"He's not that bad! I promise!" pleaded Malibu. "I'm sorry for sneaking out but..."
Mamba snorted at her which made Malibu hush, she knew how her father was to new creatures that he doesn't know. She lowered her head while looking at her father with apologetic eyes, even her tail was lowered some. "I'm so sorry! Really I am!"
"Come on let's go home." huffed Mamba as he began walking back to the meadow which was their home. Malibu was quick to follow him while keeping her head down, for she didn't want her father to be upset with her.
The walk back was rather calming and that was thanks to the suns presence. It was quickly becoming a rather beautiful day, and many creatures were taking notice of it. Mamba could see it as well, as he continued to lead his daughter back home.
Glancing over his shoulder some, did he look at his daughter who still looked sad. His amber eyes narrowed some, for he felt that faint guilt deep down. Seriously he was glad that she was okay, but the fact that she snuck out to meet a stranger. That just wasn't okay. "Malibu?"
