The days and nights painstakingly went by in a slow rhythm for Mamba, while Nimbus had been returning to him and telling him what was happening. As the day settles down onto the land, did Mamba feel fed up.
How much longer do I have to wait!?!
Mamba was indeed furious for he wanted to get up and kill that no good weakling. But alas he couldn't for his body was still recovering from his injuries. In truth he was much better than he was, and his injuries had actually stopped bleeding which was good. Still that was not enough for he still needed to rest.
Nimbus if anything was a literal gift to him, for if he hadn't of helped him he would of died a long time ago. Mamba didn't like that due to his pride however, just admitting that made his maw shiver in annoyance.
According to Nimbus though, Talon was well but she was being treated as the lowest rank in the pack. Just the mention of that made the lone male angry, only cause she deserved better. Again, just thinking that made him grumble out.
Mamba was never the type to be so gentle and cuddly, and just being cuddly just made his whole entire body crawl. Try as hard as he might to be tough, he could not stop thinking about others. It was seriously incredible as well how one could change, not that he thinks he has.
I have to get better!
But why is it taking so long!?!The lone male was wanting to get up so bad, and yet his body refuses to listen to him. Bael was the only thing on his mind at that moment for he wanted to kill that raptor. Just killing him wouldn't be enough though, for he wanted to kill his pack as well. Mamba looked up into the forest that now surround him, and the calls of distant creatures filled the skies.
Nimbus had spoke of his condition, the last time he was there with him. The elder had said that he would be able to recover in just a few months time. When he first heard that, Mamba became increasingly restless for he couldn't possibly wait that long. By the time he recovers, Talon may die at the hands of that weakling and that was definitely something that he didn't want.
Mamba closed his eyes and he glared afterwards as his nostrils flared up, his fangs were soon visible from his maw. The lone male forced himself to stand, and at first he winced as the pain went through his frame. But as he stood still, he was finally on his feet.
His body was stiff as well as it was sore, but he snorted with a glint in his amber eyes. Mamba began to walk around as he tried to warm up his body, and at first it was a little awkward due to his time laying in the nest for so long. The more that he did it however, the easier it became.
The lone male lifted his head up high as he began to sniff the wind, and the familiar scent from the elder finally wafted into his line of sight. By following after Nimbus, he would find the pack that was ruled by Bael.
Of course the elder would be against him doing this, but he was not going to lay around and let Bael do whatever he wants. The lone male was stubborn and this stubbornness was what he prided himself in. Mamba was not going to lay around and let others walk over him, he was going to get back at those who push him around.
This world was tough that was apparent, but he knew that he would have to be tougher than the world in order for him to stay alive. All creatures followed this example.
Herbivores will fight to the very end, much like the carnivores.
Mamba followed after the scent with a fire in his eyes, and when he reached his destination did he notice Nimbus. The elder looked at him in a glance and blinked in pure puzzlement. Obviously, Nimbus didn't expect to see him up and walking around so soon.
