Mamba was walking along, though his body was sore. The lone male didn't want to wait around for those other raptors who were no doubt looking for him. Amber eyes slowly shifted however to his side, he was also not alone for Talon was with him.
Just why is she following me?
Mamba didn't know for sure why, but he was some what glad that he was not alone. She was a good hunter and he was a good fighter. Maybe, just maybe he was actually going to make a pack after all.
All that pain and torment paid off.
A small smile came to his maw, he blinked though when he heard a curious click.
"What are you smiling about?", Talon was curious for she was looking at him with a bit of a smile of her own.
"Nothing.", he huffed out his response not only that but his smile left his lips.
Talon looked at him curiously though she looked down, her tail was sort of low but she looked at him again. His frame was very strong, she knew that for he defeated that other raptor no problem. Her eyes couldn't help but look at his wounds that were on his body.
She also could feel the stinging on her own injuries and she knew that they needed to be cleaned. If they weren't then the wounds would get infected.
"When we stop again, could I possibly clean your wounds?"
What the...!
Now she asked!Mamba looked at her in silence, his amber eyes were narrowed for a moment before looking ahead.
"I'm fine."
His response clearly bothered her for she lowered her head.
Mamba was aware of his wounds, not that he liked them. He never thought that in a million years he would get wounds that would no doubt make scars. Scars were just something that he didn't like, only cause it meant two things.
One thing, was that most males will show them off in a sickening display of dominance. It was petty and it made his throat burn when he saw a male show off his scars.
Secondly, if you had scars that meant that you were weak. Weakness that was painted upon your body. He was not weak, he was strong enough to take on any other creature that were to come his way.
The male couldn't believe that he would have scars, and no amount of cleaning would help get rid of them. Just how did it come to this, if it wasn't for that female he would of been the alpha.
Rules were meant to be broken!
"Mamba?", softly cooed Talon.
Mamba blinked his amber eyes as he looked at her silently, and his maw faintly shook as he looked at her.
"Never mind...", Talon's tone was saddened as she looked down.
Mamba watched her before slowly looking at her wounds that were clearly bleeding. She had so many scars on her body which led him to believe that she was definitely a loner. She was not accustomed to that of the pack life. Such scars were sort of ugly to males as well, but there were some who liked scars.
Mamba didn't like them though, for he wanted a female that was pure of any kind of ugliness. He however does see his mother with Talon for his mother went through the same thing in her life.
She was as strong as any male or female, for she did everything in her power to provide food and care for him. He didn't want to think about his mother, but every time he looks at Talon he just couldn't help but think about his mother.
