Ellie’s POV

I moan as I wake up, my body sore from the events of last night. Last night, thinking about it puts a large smile on my face. I turn over to feel muscular arms tightening their hold around me, and I squirm to get closer to Luke’s warm body. His legs entwine with my own and his fingers lightly trace circles into my back making me shiver slightly.

“Let me sleep woman,” he groans, as I twist a little more trying to get comfortable. I chuckle as I move back to create a few inches of distance between us and start to run my fingers down his chest, I really just can’t get enough of his abs.

“What the?” I yelp when Luke suddenly grabs my fingers and brings them up to his face and lightly kisses my fingertips.

“I don’t think you should do that right now,” Luke smirks, talking about me running my hands down his body. I blush from embarrassment and turn my face to see my phone lighting up on the bedside table.

I grab it and see that I have fifty-six missed calls and over one hundred text messages. Most of the calls are from home, I have three texts from my mom, and the rest are from my dad. I sigh and remember the argument I had with my mother last night, I will have to call them sooner or later but right now I am thinking it will be later. I’m sure my mom doesn’t care that I am gone anyways.

As I think about it though, I feel kind of bad for not telling my parents anything. I pick up my phone and send a short text to my dad telling him that I am okay and hanging out with Luke today, that I will be back later. He texts back a few seconds later saying he understands and that he will see me tonight.

“You want to know something?” I ask quietly as I turn back into Luke and his arms wrap around me again.

“What?” he asks, his expression a mix between seriousness and amused.

“I’m really hungry,” I grin, craning my neck to look up at him. He lets out a large laugh before kissing the top of my forehead and sitting up.

“Well then let’s get some breakfast,” he exclaims, getting out of bed and waiting for me to follow him to the kitchen. His Nirvana t-shirt that I am wearing is down to my mid thigh so I don’t even bother putting on shorts before following him down to the hall to the kitchen.

I sit down on the stool at the bar as I wait for him to get out whatever he is getting. “Well all we really have is this,” Luke turns around and grins, holding about four boxes of cereal in his arms. Dear goodness, he has some big hands.

“Well it just so happens that I love Cocoa Puffs,” I grin, leaning over the counter and grabbing one of the boxes from his hands and waiting for him to get a bowl and some milk. As I eat I can’t help but be glad that there is no awkwardness between us from last night. Honestly I want nothing more than to be with Luke, he makes me feel, I don’t even know how to describe it.

“Hey, you want to do something today?” Luke asks, breaking me away from my thoughts. I look beside me to see that he has a very large grin on his face, and I can’t help but think that I love seeing him this happy.

“Sure, what are we going to do?” I ask, curious to see what he is excited about.

“Let’s go dancing!” he exclaims, jumping up from the stool that he occupied just a second ago. I give him a bewildered look, but seeing the wide grin on his face and the spark in his eyes I realize I can’t say no to this boy.

“Okay, let’s go dancing,” I agree, rising up from my stool to follow Luke who is practically sprinting to his room so he can get ready. “Um, can we go by my house first so I can get some clothes?” I ask quietly, I know hie will be upset that we can’t go right away but I can’t really wear just a t-shirt out dancing.
