“Mmmm, I love pizza,” Michael hums as he bites into what has got to be at least his sixth piece of pizza.

“Thank goodness we came on buffet day, or I don’t think I would have gotten any,” I mumble before my face breaks out into an expression of pain. “Michael did you seriously just kick me?” I whine, bringing my leg up in the booth and rubbing my shin that most likely now has a bruise on it.

“That’s for making fun of me. You know I like pizza,” he shrugs as if it is no big deal. I stick my tongue out at him as he just continues to eat, piling plate after plate at the end of the table so he can go back to the buffet bar and get more. Honestly, I don't know how this boy stays so skinny because he eats like a pig.

“So are we all riding together to this party tonight or what?” I ask when he gets back with another three slices of pizza. I quickly grab a piece of ham and pineapple that he has gotten for me and begin to eat as well.

“Um, I think Calum might ride with us and Ashton and Emma will just meet us there,” Michael shrugs with a look of sympathy. He knows that I am dreading the fact that sooner or later I have to tell Emma everything that is going on, and as much as I would like for it to be later I know I have to confide in her soon.

“Sounds good, so do we plan on getting wasted at this party because I am in need of some serious alcohol therapy,” I grin, finally letting myself go a little. I’ve had to deal with so much just in the past week, I kind of just want to let loose and have a good time before coming back to reality and dealing with the problems at hand.

“Ugh, hell yeah we are. How is that even a question, come on Howell, you know I am the king of drinking,” Michael yells, raising his arms up in victory before smirking at a girl that is staring at us from another table.

“Dude, you have to learn to be quiet,” I chuckle, reaching across the booth and putting his arms back down. I feel like the whole restaurant is looking at us and my cheeks turn pink.

“Okay, well I’m done so we can go by your house for you to get changed and then Calum will just meet us at my house,” Michael grins, getting out of the booth and leaving a twenty on the table to pay for both of us. I nod my head, not understanding why I am letting Mikey give me instructions when I am the one driving everywhere.

Upon reaching my house I quickly head upstairs and slip into some denim shorts, a black t-shirt, and a black flannel before brushing through my hair and grabbing my vans. I’m not really too worried about looking good for this party when all I really want to do is drink.

“Okay, let’s head to your house,” I grin as I walk back outside and get into my car seeing that Mikey has been sitting in the passenger seat playing with the radio while waiting for me.

Once we get to his house I see that his mom isn’t home so I walk in and turn the television on while he changes and we wait for Calum.

“Well, look who’s decided to be part of the group again,” I hear a familiar voice exclaim through the door way, and I turn around just in time to see Calum come flying at me on the couch.

“Ow Cal, you’re kind of blocking off my air supply,” I chuckle as Calum lands on top of me, enveloping me in a huge hug.

“Sorry, sorry I’ve just missed you,” he replies, rolling over so he is now sitting beside me. “So are you ready to get shit-faced tonight?” he grins, raising his hand for a high five.

“You know it,” I laugh in return, bringing my hand up to slap his own. Apparently Mikey has told Cal about the Luke situation because to my relief he doesn’t ask about him.
