"ROBIN MURDOCK," the dark-haired man answered the phone nonchalantly, still smiling from winning his bet with Apollo that his favorite soccer team would win.

"Mr. Murdock, s-something bad happened," Abigail, their secretary, shakily whimpered into the phone. Her voice shook so much that Robin took a few seconds to decipher it properly.

"What?" He snaps sharply, his smile falling and his back straight as a board. He'd sat up from where he'd previously been lounging on the couch, alarming Apollo. "Where's my daughter, is Carmen alright? What the hell happened?"

"It was the supervisors, Sir. They did something, and-and when we got to the conference room, Ms. Murdock was gone!"

"Tell me that they took her phone, too." Robin struggled to keep his composure.

"They left behind everything that she had when she entered the building, I'm so sorry-" Robin disconnected the call, standing up as he slammed his phone down on the kitchen table.

"God damn it!" He roared, balling his fist up tightly.

"Brother, brother. Calm yourself, we'll get her back," Apollo struggled to contain the man.

Robin broke away from him, his whiskey-colored eyes darkening almost to black. "I'm not going to calm down until I get my daughter back. I don't care if I have to kill this whole town,"

Maybe Novak truly caused this change in the two Murdocks, either way, Apollo felt so sure. Robin's mind was racing, and then she remembered the last man that Carmen talked to, the one that threatened her and in his mind, was a possible suspect and a threat.

"I need everything on Dane Walsh."

"ARE YOU sure that barging into that diner to talk to her friends is a good idea?" Apollo whispered to Robin as he sat in the passenger seat. The man in question was still fuming, his hands tightly gripping the stirring wheel.

Robin glared through the windscreen, "I heard that two of them are good investigators. I thought I'd test that theory."

He opened the door, stepping out of the car and slammed it shut, his long legs bringing him to the doors of the diner. The bell rang from above his head when he pushes the door open, bringing all the attention to the finely-dressed businessman.

His calculating eyes searched the diner, landing on the table seated with a redhead, a crown beany-clad boy, a blonde and the youngest Lodge.

His walk with purpose draws their attention as he gave them a soft smile.

"M-Mr. Murdock," Betty stammers nervously. From what she heard, he could be dangerous, especially for the sake of his daughter.

"Normally, I'd tell you to call me Robin, if circumstances were different. Betty, Veronica, and...Forsythe? Or was it Jughead?"

"Yeah, it's Jughead."

"Yes. I need to talk to both of you. Should we take this to another table?" He stepped back as Betty and Jughead scrambled to get out of the booth, Veronica was already standing beside the man. Robin turned towards another table, smoothly sliding into the booth.
