THE PLAN was set in motion the next day after being thorough, the third day of Carmen's stay in the city she ran away from. She had successfully managed to find a wig that resembles her mother's blonde hair, and fortunately only having to add a few of her touches so she could imitate Eliana Sorrel-Murdock perfectly.
The moment she strode into the living room in a walk the way that Eliana had, her face with a soft smile, and glasses adorning her eyes, everyone looked as if they'd seen a ghost. It was the blonde hair that made Carmen's sharp features softer, with a little help of make up, and the light floral dress specifically taken from her mother's share of clothings. Liam had taken it upon himself to teach and help Carmen act more like her mother, though she learned fast and easily falling in the routine.
By their reactions, Carmen could safely assume she'd done as beautifully as she had planned.
"Oh my God, you look so much like her," Elliot gasps. "If I didn't know any better, I would've called you 'aunty Eli' faster than I could swallow fried chicken."
Wynona wore a smug smirk, "Beautiful, isn't she?"
"I mean it, Carmen. You sense something, get the hell out of there," Liam interrupts the amusement, his expression grim.
Elliot and Liam had both been wearing black attires, ready to abduct Jack Lind. All Carmen was supposed to do was lure him out into the designated alley and they could take it from there.

"DOWSABEL? WHO the hell is that?" Jughead held a confused expression as Veronica finished replaying Carmen's latest voicemail. The iconic four, incomplete without the tall and proper brunette, were sat in a booth at Pop's. A space left open between Betty and Veronica, always meant for the young Murdock as they casually talked about her over milkshakes, burgers, fries and onion rings.
"It's Carmen," Betty cuts in. "The day before her dad and godfather went to look for her and found her, Mr. Murdock told Veronica and I the origin of Dowsabel."
"Okay? And why is she asking us to use the payphone when we have her number?" Archie followed.
"She's back in New York to get her dad back, and finish, I quote, war back in New York to stop it from following me home, end quote. She told me she'd contact any one of us with her personal number if it's safe enough, said that the number she gave me was from her burner phone," Veronica answered.
"I fear for the day she comes back here in a body bag, or a coffin," Betty admitted. "Everywhere she went, there's always chaos. I hate not being able to help her, she wouldn't tell me or Ronnie anything about what's happening, especially something that probably went down in Budapest."
"You think it's time we finally do a little digging on her?" Jughead suggested.
"Yeah," Archie agreed. "She probably knows almost everything about us but we literally know little to nothing about her, except maybe Ronnie."
"She doesn't tell me anything else," Veronica immediately defends herself. "You guys don't think she'll be mad we're doing this?"
"If there's anything we all know, it's that, she might understand." Betty told them. "Trust me."
