CARMEN HAD been discharged from the hospital that same night under Robin's flirtation with the nurse to foolishly pursuade her into letting him sign the papers. By the time he made it back to Carmen's room, the girl had already been dressed and was on the verge of falling back asleep.

Apollo had went and prepared a car parked just outside, so Carmen wouldn't have to be tired out just by walking a few distance. Recovery was going to be a long run, but the young Murdock has people to trust surrounding her, that should be enough to help her.

Robin walked out of the hospital doors, pushing Carmen in a wheelchair. The girl herself looked dull, as they approached the black SUV that Apollo brought so Carmen wouldn't have any difficulty settling in.

She fell asleep the moment Robin set her in, having lifted the wheelchair inside as well before he sat beside her instead of being upfront with his bestfriend. Carmen didn't mind as Robin gently pulled her down so she could use his lap as a pillow, and laid his jacket once more over her figure.

"What do we do with Volkov?" Apollo questioned him.

Robin's eyes were deadly as he looked into the rearview mirror to catch Apollo's gaze. "We kill him tonight. If he's the leader of that little band of bats, we don't strike the group. We strike that motherboard because they'll be like bats out of hell when they lose their head,"

"You might want to change, then. Think I got them in a warehouse a few miles out of Riverdale. Carmen up to being the eye? She'll be out of the line of fire, but we need someone to be our eyes." Apollo shrugged.

"Got some stashed in the back?" The Murdock father was almost jolting out of his seat, only to remember that his daughter was still laying on his lap. He winced at the thought of having to adjust her again.

"Always, Murdock." Apollo smirked.

Robin looked around for any clothing material he could use to ball up and put under Carmen's head as a pillow. His eyes fortunately zeroed in on the jumper hanging off of the passenger seat. The burgundy color indicated that it was Apollo's possession, but it would have to do.

"Hey, Barnes," Robin called. "Toss me your jumper. I need something for Carmen to use as a pillow."

Blindly, Apollo grabbed it, balling it up in his lap and tossed it back.

It never hit Robin's awaiting hands. No, it hit his face instead. The dark-haired man shot him an unamused look. "To me, Apollo. Not my face,"

"Still the same thing, birdbrain," Apollo laughed.

"HEY, BABY doll, wake up. I promise this will be the last time I interrupt your rest," Robin murmured, clad in his black military gear, the same thing that Apollo wore. "But I need you to do something for me."

The first thing that Carmen registered to was her father's dark attire. Her brows knitting in confusion as she looked past his knelt position to see outside the open car door was Apollo, in all his glory.

"What, did you both suddenly have a witch hunt without me?"

"No offense, Carmen, but I think it's your dad who's more likely to do that than me. I live more for egg hunting and it isn't even Easter." Apollo chuckled.
