Happily Ever Never!?!

CHAPTER 1: Seven Years Later

I'm not sure in how I got to this place in my life but I love it. The past is in the past and both Cade and I along with our son, Charlie, have been able to live a steady life for the last few years and I love this new life. 

"Hey Penny!" I hear my cousin Jeff tell me as he comes walking into the dining room with Charlie on his back. 

Cade and I have a handsome son named Charlie and had just turned seven years old last week. Spring break was coming up at school and Cade and I had planned to take Charlie to Disney World. I had never been and always wanted to go, so right now, I was packing some snacks for us and finish packing for all of us. 

Cade right now happened to be at work and was doing great as his own boss and I was really happy to know that nothing he was doing was illegal. 

For the first few years, he was actually under house arrest after the whole ordeal and made a deal with the FBI that if he told them some names of guys they had been looking for for years, then he wouldn't go to prison but would be put on house arrest for three years. Which I'm glad was only that because we were able to hide it from Charlie so that he would never find out about his dad's past. 

"Hey Jeff. Can you please finish helping Charlie pack please and make sure that your bag is in the car also. I wan't to have everything in the car and ready so that all we have to do is get up, get dressed and jump into the car." I tell him. 

"Don't worry." He laughs. 

"Mom?" Charlie calls to me. 

"Yes sweetie?" I smile at him. 

"Can I please bring Black Panther and Deadpool with us?" He asks me. 

"Yes. But no other toys. Remember, we aren't going to be there very long, just a few days." I remind him. 

"I know mommy." He smiles back and jumps off Jeff's back and starts making his way upstairs. 

"Can I bring one of my toys?" Jeff asks me both sarcastically and serious. 

"Who is it gonna be this time?" I ask him with my hand on my hip.

"Actually, she's not just a random girl. We've been seeing each other for the last few months and both really like each other." He admits. 

"Really? I never imagined you as a one girl type of guy." I tease him. 

"Me neither." He chuckles. 

"Well then, that's okay. We did get an extra ticket since one of the guy's got sick so she can have his." I tell him. 

"Thanks." He smiles. 

"You're welcome." I reply as I finish packing the snacks and putting them in a cooler bag and carry both that and a backpack of mine and Cade's things out to the car. 

I open up the trunk and begin to put the backpack and cooler in the trunk and suddenly feel two arms wrap around my waist from behind me and then feel a kiss on the side of my neck. 

"My god you are so fucking sexy." I hear Cade's low deep husky voice say under his breath in my ear. 

I turn around and wrap my arms around him and start kissing his lips as I feel him pull me closer against his body. 

"I love you." I chuckle at him. 

"I love you too." He smiles as he gives me one more kiss on the lips before smacking my butt. "Is Charlie almost packed?" 

"Yep. And Jeff by the way is bringing some girl that he says he thinks might be serious." I tell him. 

"Oh yeah, Silvia." 

"You knew about it?" I asked. 

"Yeah. I thought you already knew about her too." He says. 

"Apparently not." I tell him. 

"Don't be upset. He probably didn't want to tell you yet because he was afraid you might judge him." He points out. 

I was going to say something to disagree with him but I couldn't, he was right. However, in all fairness, Jeff hasn't been much of a one girl serious type of a guy. Man, this is gonna be a good trip. Hopefully, she's not a bitch.
