Happily Ever Never!?!

CHAPTER 20: BANG!!

I can't believe this. I can't believe I have failed so badly. Not saying I'm giving up or anything but shit, I can't believe I'm in this situation right now. 

Both Mr. Radcliffe and I got tied up to a couple chairs a few feet apart next to each other with our mouths taped shut. 

"You know, I have waited for this day for so long." Sterling smirks. 

I wish so badly that I could get up and rip out his throat with my bare hands before finishing him off with a bullet in his head along with Framez too but, there was no way of me escaping. 

Then out of nowhere, all of a sudden, we all hear gunshots going on close to the room we were in. 

"Go check it out." Sterling gestures with his head towards the door. 

Several of his men and Radcliffe's 'ex' men cautiously head to the door and start to open it up and right away they begin to fire their guns to whoever was out there. 

Not too much longer after that, the door busts open and I notice the person firing is Raymond? Oh my god, what the hell is he doing here? I don't need this shit right now. 

Then I see him continuing to fire without stopping and after the men in the room were all dead, except for Sterling, he shuts the door behind him and keeps pointing his gun at Sterling. 

"Raymond. Damn it's been years, how the hell have you been?" Sterling asks. 

"Don't you fucking talk." Raymond tells him as he continues pointing the gun at him before coming over to Mr. Radcliffe and I and cuts the rope that has my wrists tied together and rips off the tape then hands me the knife. 

"What are you doing here?" I ask him as I finish cutting the last of Mr. Radcliffe's ropes and we stand next to Raymond. 

"I need to go and find my son." I tell him. 

"Don't worry, Penny found him I'm sure." He tells me. 

"You sure about that?" Sterling says with his hands up still in surrender as he looks past over our shoulders behind us. 

The moment I turn and look, I see both Penny and Charlie with their mouths taped shut and their wrists taped together. 

"I warned you not to hurt my family." I tell him. 

The next thing I remember, I'm suddenly running towards Sterling not caring about if he shoots me, stabs me or hurts me in any other way. 

Luckily I'm able to tackle down onto Sterling as his gun doesn't end up going off. Then Raymond and all of them try going after getting Charlie and Penny for me. 

Both Sterling and I begin throwing punches at each other and start kicking each other too until he tries crawling towards his gun that he seemed to have dropped onto the floor but I grab his ankles and turn him over as I continue punching his face hard, blood splattering out of his mouth. 

I can't help it. All I see right now is him being dead so I don't stop. That is, not until I hear a gunshot go off from outside of the room. Worried that it was Charlie or Penny who got shot, I wince in pain as I try getting up and try running out towards them until I feel someone grab me from behind and fall back only, we don't fall back onto the floor, instead I push him hard against the wall behind us while I feel him put me in a choke hold tightly and making it hard to breathe or fight back. I feel myself losing oxygen and am afraid I'm going to either black out or worse, die. However, that was until I heard a gunshot go off in the room.
