PENNY
After our plane landed in Florida, we first headed to the hotel and after getting settled in, because we had a couple of days to go to Disney World, I thought we could relax in the hotel, get something to eat and just relax and go to the park tomorrow but of course, just like any other kid, Charlie didn't understand that. It was especially hard for him not to want to go when we had the perfect view from the Disney hotel of the park.
"Oh can we please go?" Charlie says excited while tugging on Cade's hand.
"Hold on little man, we need to see what everyone else wants to do right now." He tells him.
"I'll text Jeff and see of him and Silvia would like to join us tonight or wait until tomorrow." I tell him as I take out my phone and start texting him.
Jeff texts me back saying that him and Silvia would like to. So we all get freshened up and then make our way downstairs to the lobby to meet up before heading over to the park.
Throughout the entire day, Charlie was excited about seeing everything and was wanting to ride every single ride. Cade and I had to remind Charlie that we had the next couple of days to come and ride rides more than once or whatever we couldn't get in tonight, we could do throughout the next couple of days.
Despite the crowds of people that are here, things weren't really that bad. We had gotten fast passes for a few of the rides, ate our meals there and bought some souvenirs today but not a lot so that we could get Charlie some things the next couple of days.
We all were having so much fun and Silvia was really cool and great with Charlie. In fact, Charlie liked her a lot that most of the night, he was riding on rides with her and making sure that Jeff knew that Silvia was his girl now.
What was really nice was that both Jeff and Silvia offered to take Charlie while Cade and I went around for a couple of hours on our own to have some fun ourselves and then meet back up at the front entrance before heading back to the hotel.
While walking around a little bit, I felt like Cade wasn't as cheerful and upbeat as he was earlier with Charlie and all of us acting like kids.
"What is it?" I ask.
"Nothing." He tries and plays off.
"I know you more than you know yourself honey. Something is wrong. So tell me." I say.
"I'm fine, really. I'm just tired." He begins.
"Alright, don't tell me, but you know I will find out sooner or later." I remind him with a smile.
"It's just I have a new client as of yesterday, before I came home." He tells me.
"That's great baby. Right?" I ask him.
"Yeah. It's gonna be really good." He smiles at me while leaning over to give me a kiss on the lips and then lifts up our locked hands and kisses the top of my hand. "Come on, let's go ride something."
"Okay." I laugh while dropping the subject for now and enjoy being a kid with my amazing husband.
Cade and I were having more fun than neither of us have had in a long time and what made this moment even more special was the fact that this was all of our first times coming here.
I had gone to the bathroom while on our way towards meeting up with Jeff, Silvia and Charlie when I came walking out and stopped halfway while noticing Cade was on the phone with someone. He had his back turned to me and I couldn't hear him too good so I tried to slowly and quietly get a little closer to hear what he was talking about and though I couldn't hear him clearly, it sounded like he was back to his old ways and lifestyle.
I'm trying hard not to assume things and yet, I don't want to bring up any of the past but at the same time, I need to make sure that he understands that there is no way he can put Charlie and us both through that.
He finally hangs up the phone and I notice his shoulders going up and down as he takes in a deep breath and let's out before turning around and see's me.
"Hey." He smiles.
"Hey. Who was on the phone?" I came out and asked.
"That was the new client. He told me he wanted to set up a meeting to go over some ideas he had for his project and a few other things too. I just told him I was on vacation and would get back to him after I returned." He smiles.
I'm not sure if I believe him or not. Then again on the other hand, paranoia never helped anyone. So I guess, instead of ruining this amazing vacation, I'm going to let it go and just believe him. I mean, he would tell me if it was something else........Right?
Next chapter will be posted soon! :)
