3rd POV
Note that I do not wear glasses fortunately. But my Mom, Dad, and little brother do.

"Nonononono!!!" Percy cries out as he rummaged through the cabinets below his sink in his cabin. The whole thing was in another level of mess then usual.

He groaned and slumped up against his bath tub and didn't move for about five minutes before a knock on the door made him turn his head. It was strange seeing his cabin that he could always see so clearly look fuzzy and out of focus.

He hated it.

He ran out of contacts.

He hadn't refilled them in a long time due always being on quests, but he didn't think today would've the day they ran out completely.

"Seaweed brain! You better be ready in the next three minutes or else I'm coming in there to get you myself!" He heard Annabeth shout before listening to her foot steps get softer till they faded completely.

Ugh glasses.

They were black rimmed with two small blue bubbles on each side. Childish, he knows, but he saw blue and the next thing he knew he was on the drive home with his mom.

Do people know that he's supposed to wear glasses? If you mean his mom and Paul then sure. If you mean anyone else anywhere then no.
It's not like he's ashamed that he has bad eyesight but it was easier for people not to know.

Flashback

"Percy can I try on your glasses?" A boy name Kyle asked again and again and again.

"Miss Chadwick (I made that up) Kyle won't leave me alone!" Percy complained because it was so annoying.

"What does he want?" She asked not looking up from her phone.

"To... wear my glasses... I don't see why that matters."

"Let him wear your glasses then." She snaps glaring at little six year old Percy.

'How is that going to solve anything?!' Percy scream in his head but Miss Chadwick was looking at him and then gesturing to Kyle.

He toke them off and hesitantly hand it to him. The first thing that he does is break them in half and chew on the glass. Miss Chadwick sighs before glaring at Percy and going back to her phone.

'ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!'

Flashback end

Percy picked up the glasses in slight distaste and slipped them onto his face. Of course he could see better and the room was no longer fuzzy.

Percy still wears his glasses occasionally while alone in his cabin because why not. It also took him forever to stop the thing where you go to push up your glasses but your glasses aren't even there.

He kind of missed the familiar weight that the glasses had on his face. What he didn't miss though is when he stepped out into the cold and then back into a warm room and they fogged up. Or when he was trying to have a hot drink. They would probably get in the way when he starts fighting. He honestly doesn't know how Jason does it.

The worst part about glasses fogging up is that you can't see a thing. Then when you go to clean them you find random smudges. Like no, I didn't ask for that.

Percy shook his head and adjusted the sweatshirt he was wearing. He pulled the hoodie over his head and tightened the strings. His hair automatically scattered all over his face and he checked the mirror, as best as he could, to see if his glasses were showing.

He sucked in a deep breath and reached for the doorknob.

"There you are Percy I was just about to-" Annabeth stopped and stared at Percy in confusion. "What are you wearing?"

"What?" Percy's voice was slightly muffled by his hoodie but the seven could still hear him. Annabeth raised her eyebrow and Piper stifled a laugh.

"I don't know about you guys but I'm hungry!" Percy laughed nervously and sidestepped a confused Annabeth. The seven watched as Percy stumbled around before going off and following him.

"Percy that's a pole." Jason said when Percy was about to smack his face on it.

"Hahahaha... I knew that..." Percy laughed and quickly scraped his food into the fire and sat down.

"Take off your hoodie to eat. It would be easier." Frank suggested when he saw Percy struggling. Percy looked up startled before shaking his head rapidly.

"Hahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha... no." He laughed nervously before giving a single word answer and going back to struggling to eat his food.

Annabeth closed her book annoyed. Percy had been trying to drink from his glass for the five minutes without using a straw. Annabeth growled, and without any warning, yanked Percy's hoodie off.

There sat a shocked Percy looking extra adorable with his black hipster glasses. With a closer look you could totally see two little cute bubbles on each side.

"Awe!" Hazel squealed after an extended silence at the table.

"OMHADES you look adorable!" Leo also squealed talking really fast making Percy blush. (It's like omg but with Hades. So instead of saying the "g" part you say Hades. I don't know if anyone would get that)

The whole table made a commotion making Percy blush and hide his face in his hands.

"Stoppppp~" Percy whined and Annabeth laughed before frowning at him.

"Why didn't you want us to see this earlier?" Nico questioned basically reading Annabeth's mind.

"I don't like people asking me to wear them. Or the way I look in the them. It's not the glasses themselves that I hate." Percy shrugged and pushed them up with his wrist.

Jason grinned and slung an arm over Percy's shoulder. "Dude we match!" He exclaimed and Percy smiled.

Leo tugged in Percy's hoodie and pulled up the whining Percy and grinned.

"Come on pretty boy, we're going to test out how durable you glasses are!" Leo said excited. Percy screwed up his fave confused but did it question anything.

"What does that mean?" Frank asked.

"It probably means that Leo is going to throw a bunch of things at his face and see if it breaks his glasses on impact." Jason shrugged and shuttered slightly at the memory of Leo's 'experiments'.

"LEO!" Annabeth yelled before chasing after the little elf.

"Well that was a surprise!" Hazel smiled and clapped her hands together.

The others left at the table nodded before getting up to go to their activities for the day.
