Chapter 12: Sick boy

"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...." Percy whined and then coughed violently at the end due to his sore throat.

"You okay man?" Jason asked again as he moved his waffles away. Frank and Hazel looked worried, and Will looked like he was about to go all doctor mode, only thing holding him back was Nico.

"Don't worry about him." Annabeth said not looking up from her book, "He probably just wants someone to play with him."

"Percy, amigo, you look like poop." Is all Leo said before getting grease on Piper which caused her to "accidentally" pour her orange juice on him.

Percy glared at all of them and opened his mouth to say something, but the only thing that came out was the two pancakes he had eaten 10 minutes ago.

"Percy!" Nico called out in shock when he saw the demigod retching everything Annabeth forced him to eat.

"What-" Annabeth barely asks before finally looking up from her book only to see Percy taking everything out of his stomach.

Will stood up and commanded Frank and Jason to help him get Percy to the infirmary.

"Let me die~" Percy groaned and Will frowned at the demigod.

"That's not a good thing a recovering patient should say." Will clicked his tongue and wrote something down on his clipboard that he always seemed to be carrying.

"That's not good for anyone to say." Frank said looking at Percy with a worried expression.

"Awe Frank, you worried about me?" Percy asked in a teasing manner.

"Of course." Frank said with no hesitation.

"Ahh~ so pure! So caring!" Percy thought and hugged Frank, Who was sitting close enough for him to do that.

"I'm not afraid to throw you off if you barf on me." Frank said but didn't hesitate to hug his friend back.

"I'm sorry should we be jealous?" Annabeth said coming in with Hazel. Percy grinned and hugged Frank tighter and Hazel couldn't help but coo at the sight. Frank however was a blushing mess but didn't object to the tighter hug.

"Okay Perce, we need you to take your medicine." Will said coming in with some purple stuff. "This ain't major so it doesn't require ambrosia."

Percy wrinkled up his nose and took the small plastic cup thing from Will's hand. "What's the flavor?"

"Grape."

"...."

"No one likes grape Will."

"Thank you Hazel. You understand."

"Just drink the medicine."

"Thank you Annabeth, you understand."

"Nope. Grape is still gross Will."

"I think grape is okay..."

"No one thinks grape is okay Frank. Unless it tastes different in Canada." Perch shifted slightly and faced Frank with a disgusted face. Will took the chance and shoved the medicine in his mouth while he was talking to Frank.

He gagged slightly but a sharp look from the two blondes in the room made him think twice about spitting it out.

"Gee thanks for this." Percy said and threw the cup at Will's forehead. He caught it of course but still.

"Just gets some rest Percy." Will sighed before checking his clipboard and walking away to a different part of the infirmary.

Annabeth pecked Percy on the cheek before dragging Frank out of the door with a wave. Percy relaxed back into his bed before letting his eyes close.

He was really glad his friends were there to help him out whenever he got sick.
