Chapter 15: Fathers day

Poseidon and Paul loved getting Father's Day gifts from their only son, Percy (Not his only son in Poseidon's case). He wasn't necessarily the best gift giver that you could hope for but you could really tell that he tried his hardest when he picked his gift out.

Then started the new trend for Percy's gift. Paul and Poseidon has been getting ties for the past 5 Father's Days.

Which was weird for Poseidon cause he didn't ever wear the right shirt for him to need a tie. So in order to wear what his son bought him he just started wearing suit occasionally.

Just for Percy.

The other gods noticed that Poseidon mostly wore suits whenever they had a meeting but none of them were complaining.

It was perfectly fine that he wanted to look professional and good whenever they had a serious one.

But the professional suit was ruined with whatever tie he seemed to be wearing. Sure they matched his domain with the fish but the were ridiculous.

Athena once went off on him for not putting much effort into looking like he actually cares and he snapped at her.

It was a surprise to everyone.

Usually he would roll his eyes and take it or say something back which usually leads to a good natured fight. At least on his side.

This time he told her to shut her mouth and some other things that author doesn't want to type.

Lesson learned. No one insults Percy's ties unless they wanted to get beat down with words and dirty looks alone.

Paul mostly wore his to work. He could never wear them in school meetings at all. Percy has his habit to pick out the most silliest thing that he could find. So starfish and dolphins were not the best thing to wear for your boss.

But Paul loved whatever his son gave him.
They had grown closer and it was like a dream come true.

Percy seemed to be always keeping an eye on him whenever he was in the room. He honestly didn't mind that much.

And it was cute to see how flustered Percy got when he realized that he had been caught.

Paul knew that there was a reason behind Percy being careful around him but he wouldn't pry. If they wanted to tell him something from their past they would.

Maybe it had something to do with the would of the gods?

He didn't really care. He just knew Percy had trusted him. Even if was just a bit he was proud to get it.

Paul and Poseidon can both agree that they love Father's Day.
