I pull myself up. It's been 4 months since I left Damon. Little does he know, he got me pregnant again.

I missed Damien's birthday. His 10th birthday. And I don't know if Ember is going to have a son or daughter. I feel so damn guilty.

But no matter what, I miss Damon the most. But he betrayed me. He slept with another woman in the bed we sleep in at night!

Caroline's been staying with me, making sure I don't turn off my humanity. Klaus is looking for us, still hasn't found us but no matter, he'd probably tell Damon if he found us. So now we just talk and hike but it's fun staying at the cabin like old times. We reminisce about old memories with her dad. Caroline let me come up here with Damon once. He left a couple of his clothes here. I wish I could just burn them but after everything he's still my husband. I still love him. He's my everything. I wish I could go home. You know what? I'm going to call him.

"Hello?"

"Hello Damon." It sounds like he drops the phone.

"E-Elena? Is that really you?"

"Yes." It sounds like he closes a door.

"Where are you I'll come and get you."

"No, Damon. We need some time away from each other. Nothing's changed. You still slept with Rebekah."

"It was Katherine. She pretended to be you and got me off the vervain then Rebekah compelled me. I would never hurt you like that Elena."

"I know. I had a feeling it was compulsion. But you still slept with her. And until I get over the fact that the man I'm madly in love with slept with another woman I'm not gonna come home."

"Elena, I'm dying without you. I can't take care of our kids alone. Ember hates me, Wendy wants to fix me and Damien won't even talk to me."

"What did you do?"

"I'm spiraling. I can't stop drinking. Elena I'm scared. I can't do this without you."

"Yes you can. You just have to pull yourself together. Every morning you wake up, I want you to imagine me coming through the front door. And keep that in your mind. Because I still love you Damon. I'll always love you. And I'll be home again. I promise."

"Okay. I'll pull myself together for you."

"Okay. I love you Damon."

"I love you so much Elena. I promise you that when you don't want to rip my head off I'm going to hunt you down and give you the most mind blowing night of your life." I giggle a little.

"We'll see." We talk for about the next 3 or 4 hours. But I don't tell him I'm pregnant.

"I gotta go my phone's dying."

"Okay."

"I love you Elena."

"I love you too Damon." I hang up and I smile to myself. I really want to go home. But I can't. I wish I could. Next is Ember.

"Hello?"

"Hey Em. What's new?"

"Mom?!

"Yeah it's me honey."

"Mommy please come home. Dad is spiraling. I'm ashamed to actually call him my father."

"Don't worry. I just got off the phone with your dad. He's gonna pull himself together."

"I hope so. Because we're all scared."

"If I tell you something do you promise not to tell Dad?"

"Hang on." She closes a door and turns on a faucet.

"Tell me."

"And you can't tell your brother or your sister either."

"My lips are sealed."

"I'm pregnant again."

"Really? How far along are you?"

"I don't know. But I'm scared it's twins because the baby bump is pretty big."

"Mom are you gonna be here for the baby?"

"Of course! Is it a boy or a girl?"

"It's a girl."

"Did you decide on a name?"

"Gwen Crystal West."

"That's beautiful honey."

"So where are you?"

"That's a secret. Let me talk to Damien." I hear shuffling.

"Hello?"

"Hey Damien."

"Mom. I miss you so much."

"I know baby I know."

"When are you coming home?"

"The day that your niece is born."

"Okay. I'm gonna hold you to that mom."

"Okay Damien. Let me talk to Wendy." I hear more shuffling.

"Hello?" Her voice is enough for tears to fall down my face.

"Wendy, hey it's mommy."

"Mama?"

"I'm here."

"Mama when are you coming home?"

"When the baby inside Ember comes out."

"You mean Gwen?"

"Yeah."

"Okay Mama. See you on October 1st."

"What?" There's more shuffling.

"Hello?"

"Why hello again."

"Oh. Hey Elena."

"Can I talk to Ember?"

"Sure."

"Get out." I hear Ember snap.

"God damn it's your mother."

"Okay now get out."

"Damn. Please play nice with your father. Please Ember?"

"Fine."

"When is Gwen due?"

"October 1st."

"That's in a week."

"Yes so be ready to see dad."

"Ember-"

"Bye mom!" I put my phone down then I get up to go eat.
