Reunions and Cat Fights

Elizabeth, Damian, Landon and I left the house around 1:00. We pull into the mall and we head inside. Damian wraps his arm around my waist and I give him a gentle kiss. We head inside and go to the Starbucks Xavier said. I see him sitting with Gwen at a table and he stands up.

"Hi." A blonde comes out and hands him a coffee.

"Thanks Victoria."

"So this is the famous Ember. And Elizabeth."

"Yes. Nice to meet you Victoria." She smiles but it's a cold smile.

"Hi Mom." I wrap Gwen in a hug and she smiles at me when we pull away.

"Hey Beth."

"Hi Gwen."

"Who are these two?"

"This is Damian, my husband and Elizabeth's real father and this is our son Landon. Your half brother."

"What do you mean real Dad?"

"Damian is Elizabeth's real father."

"Oh..." I give her a small smile and she hugs Elizabeth. Victoria shoots daggers at me. We go inside a store and I help Gwen shop. Landon stays in my arms and soon he falls asleep. I sweep his short cropped brown hair out of his face and he sighs. I get him a couple new shirts and some pants for the upcoming fall. I get a few pairs of skinny jeans when I hear an argument.

"No Victoria I don't like dresses."

"Just try them on?"

"No!" She walks off and I can't help it. I go over to her.

"She inherited it from me. The particular loathing of dresses."

"I try but I can't seem to bond with her."

"Well I don't think stepdaughters bond particularly well with their stepmothers."

"You're crossing dangerous bounderies."

"Like Germany and Austria?"

"Don't get snarky with me. I could snap your neck without even flinching."

"Of course. Because Xavier turned you. You're no more then a diluted bloodline. I was born a vampire. I'm pure vampire. I never was human. But let me get this straight. What happens when I'm not competition? I love Damian. I have 3 kids with Damian. I don't love Xavier. He's all yours."

"I could easily get Damian if I wanted to." She tries to walk off but I pull her arm back, ripping the cardigan off her shoulder.

"I'm not done with you bitch!" I yell. I slap her and I will the veins to go down my face.

"Ember calm down!" Damian pulls me back and I keep hissing.

"Come at me Barbie!" Xavier holds her back and Damian pulls me away.

"Ember!"  I look at him then I jump as he runs a thumb over my veins. I pull them back and I shoot daggers at Victoria.

"Come on." He pulls me away and caresses the side of my face.

"What was that about Em?"

"She threatened to take you away from me."

"Well I'm both concerned and happy."

"Why are you happy?"

"Because my wife just slapped a bitch because she loves me so much." I smirk at him then he pulls me in for a gentle kiss.

"I love you Damian."

"I love you Ember." We grab Elizabeth and say a quick goodbye to Gwen.

"What happened?"

"Gwen's evil stepmother invaded my territory."

"No way she threatened to take Dad away?" I nod and Damian takes my hand.

"But I love your mother and only your mother." He kisses the hand he's holding and I smile. Landon falls asleep on the way home and we take him upstairs and put him to bed for his nap. I get a couple wine glasses from the kitchen and Damian gets a bottle from the cellar.

"I think this is a good year." He hands it to me and I smile.

"My parents got this bottle from the Eiffel Tower when we were in Paris."

"Then it is." He pours me some and I smile.

"I have good news."

"What is it?" I pull out the card and hand it to him.

"Congratulations?" I take a sip out of my cup and he eyes me suspiciously.

"Just open the card." He does and his eyes light up.

"Is this?" I nod and he smiles.

"We have 3 kids!" He picks me up and spins me around.

"What's going on?" Everyone comes in from the kitchen and I hand them all cards.

"Congratulations?" Mom is the first to open and she squeals.

"You're pregnant!!!!!" I nod and Landon jumps up on my lap.

"Mama what does that mean?"

"It means that there is a little baby growing inside of me. And you're gonna be a big brother!" He dances around and I pull Damian into a kiss.
