Years Gone Bye

"DAD! DAD!" I flash upstairs.

"Ember? Ember!"

"Dad I'm in here." I go into the laundry room.

"What's wrong?"

"The baby's coming."

"Come on let's get you to the hospital." I scoop her up.

"Damien! Wendy!" They run out of their rooms.

"Damien, I need you to call Xavier. Come on let's get to the hospital." I flash to my car and I put her in the backseat.

"It's okay. I'm right here."

"Daddy it hurts."

"I know baby. I know." Damien and Wendy run outside.

"I called him."

"Okay. Get in the car with your sister." They jump in and I step on it all the way to the hospital. They get her into the room.

It's almost like everything happens in slow motion. The door opens and she flaunts in, her beauty radiating everywhere. I can't say her name. It's almost like the sheer amount of her just being her chokes me. She looks back and forth, her hair flipping. I stand up and she looks over at me. My undead heart skips a beat. Her beautiful brown hair, cascading down her shoulders like a waterfall, and her brown eyes shimmering. I take a step toward her. I carefully walk over to her until my lips crash to hers, my fingers tangling in her hair. I pull away and she smiles.

"Well hello to you too Damon." I laugh. She smiles at me.

"So do you notice anything new?"

"No. All I want to see is you. God I love you so much Elena. There's no way to tell you how much I love you."

"Are you sure you don't notice anything?"

"What?" Her eyes flick down and that's when I finally notice the bump sticking out from underneath her shirt.

"I love you Damon." I can't let go of her. Not again. She pulls away to my dismay.

"Ember where's Ember?"

"Come on." We go inside the hospital room. Wendy and Damien's eyes flick up and widen.

"MOM!" They run toward her and she kneels down. They knock her down, but she stays in the embrace.

"Mommy." Ember shifts. I go over to her and her eyes flutter open.

"Hey Em. I have a surprise for you." She opens her eyes all the way. Elena steps out of the shadows.

"Mom?" She whispers.

"Hey Emmy."

"Mommy." Elena wraps her in a tight embrace.

"I'm right here Ember. I'm not leaving again." Ember lies back down and closes her eyes.

Gwen Crystal West was born at 8:36 on October 2nd. Beth became a big sister to a beautiful little girl with bright blue eyes like her sister's and her mother's. She has beautiful blonde hair like her father. We got to take her home that day.

We found out that Elena was carrying twins again, 2 boys that we decided to name Will and Ben.

Christmas passed by with no problems, no hybrids, travelers etc. as did birthdays. Will and Ben are now identical with their siblings' and my crystal blue eyes, and brown hair like Elena.

Now 10 years has passed. Ember is getting nervous because Beth is almost 16.

Damien and Tori are almost 19. They both got into a high class college. They're leaving for 2 years. Damien grew up looking like me, acting like me. Because Elena practically raised Tori, she grew up a lot like her.

Wendy is beautiful which has Elena and I concerned. She's proving to be a little bit out of hand.

"WENDY ANGELA SALVATORE GET YOUR LITTLE ASS DOWN HERE!" She scampers down the stairs into the kitchen.

"What the hell are you wearing?"

"I'm going to the nightclub."

"Oh hell no you aren't."

"Yes, I am. I can do whatever the hell I want."

"No you're 15 and I'm going to be blunt here, YOU ARE ACTING LIKE A BITCH AND A SLUT."

"Says the woman who had 5 children."

"I am married! You are not married!"

"So what is slutty about me mom?"

"First of all that skirt! It is way too short!"

"And?"

"I will not be patronized by you Wendy."

"Klaus!" He comes in.

"Compel her to tell us what the hell is going on."

"Okay." He does it.

"I flipped that humanity switch so I don't give a damn about any of you. Bye now." Elena flashes over to her and breaks her neck.

"Klaus can you compel her to turn it back on?"

"I'd rather stay out of it."

"Okay. See ya."

"Well looks like we're doing this the hard way."
