I watch as Elizabeth goes up the stairs. I look over at Ember who has tears falling down her face. I look up at Damon and he looks down at me wide eyed.

"Mom." I look over at Ember.

"Xavier and I were talking. He thinks it's the right decision to track down Damian."

"Whatever you think is best."

"He cares about her."

"Track him down. Get him over here."

Ember's P.O.V

I pull out my phone. Hopefully his number hasn't changed. I press the green phone and I put it to my ear.

"Hello?" His voice.

"Damian? Damian Fell?"

"Yes... Who's this?"

"Ember. If you remember."

"Ember? Why are you calling me?"

"Something's happened. It's Elizabeth. She is wanting to die for all of us. She's our daughter, Damian. If anyone's going to talk some sense into her it's you."

"You're lucky I'm in Mystic Falls, Em." I laugh.

"Okay. How soon can you be over?"

"5 minutes."

"Okay. I'll see you soon."

"Bye."

"Bye." I hang up and I go upstairs. I open the door and Elizabeth looks up at me.

"Lizzie, I need you to know something." The doorbell rings.

"Elizabeth I want you to come downstairs." She nods and we head down.

"Damian?"

"I've met Damien."

"No. This is a different Damian." He turns around and flashes me that gorgeous smile. I look over at Xavier. He nods and Damian's eyes flick over to Elizabeth.

"Mom, who is this?"

"Ember, Xavier and I haven't exactly been honest with you."

"Again who is this?"

"Xavier... He isn't your real father." Elizabeth's eyes go wide.

"W-what?"

"This is your real dad. Damian." My eyes flick to his.

I need to tell Xavier the real reason I called him here. Because yet again another guy has cheated on me.

"Hello Elizabeth." She takes a step toward him.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"That's something I'll get into with him. When you were a baby I met Xavier in Augustine. Even when you were a baby you always wanted a dad. So I gave you one."

"All my life something was missing. A part of me always knew that Xavier wasn't my father but I pushed it away. I saw you once." I look over at Damian.

"When I was 7 I woke up in the middle of the night and you were just standing there smiling at me. You looked so familiar, so kind. So real. But you realized I was awake or you heard mom coming and you were just... Gone." Damian takes a step toward her.

"I wish I could've stayed. That is a choice I will regret for the rest of my life. I love you Elizabeth. I always have."

"Then why did you leave me?"

"I was scared. I was afraid I wasn't right to be your father. Then your mother met Xavier and he could do all the things I couldn't."

"Don't leave again." She whispers.
